2nd Sep 2026 (9 weeks ago)Eight weeks into the buying process and days from finalising the mortgage application, I was gazumped by another buyer. Throughout this time this agency continued to run viewings on the property when I had been told my offer had been accepted it was off the market. I spend significant time and money moving to get the purchase finalised but the seller/ estate agents decide to gazump me. Very unprofessional service and I would definitely avoid them if you can and go somewhere that sticks to agreed purchase deals.
2nd Oct 2026 (30 days ago)Kent update. I didn't have to chase them up and any questions I had were quickly answered.

14th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)Tried selling a flat with them and it was a drawn out and painful process. It lasted more than a year before it fell through. Going with their contractors and solicitors was the biggest mistakes I made in the sale. I thought if I went with their recommendations, they will facilitate the process, but no. One was dishonest and the other one completely incompetent. Stuart Edward was initially responsive, but then when run into problems months down the line, Lindsey stopped answering calls and the boss Stuart did not call back when messages left. I was left on my own to deal with all the technicality and mess. It was so horrible and stressful, I do not wish it on anyone. Two stars was being very generous as they were ok initially. I went with them because I wanted to support family business. Never again.
15th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)No matter which member of staff you contact the service is consistently good. Communication is clear and follow-up on point. Staff maintain a friendly and relaxed manner and are professional at the same time as being well informed and on the ball.- 22nd Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Dowens kept me fully informed on any interest in the sale of the house we were selling They gave me feedback after each viewing. And while l have never sold a house before they helped me through what could have been a stressful business

27th Oct 2026 (5 days ago)It was brilliant we got through a very highly stressful and difficult court order sale and we all did it like a proper helpful community. Absolutely delighted and now on to the next sale with reeds rains.
16th Oct 2024 (2 years ago)Amazing people to work with. A big shout for them.
29th May 2026 (22 weeks ago)Awful experience from day one. Lesley came to me with a tenant who moved in October 25. First off they allowed a tenant to move in with no months rent up front - never agreed with myself. 7 months later I am still a month behind on unpaid rent even though I have emailed Lesley directly every month chasing. Peter Clark received the keys back to the property on 15/05 and I’m still yet to receive the months rent I’m owed. To add to this there wasn’t a single month where the rent was paid on the date stated on the agreement and instead they allowed the tenant to pay them with cash each month.
17th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)The valuation was great, the woman was lovely and photos were excellent. The communication stopped after a few weeks. The house was listed with 2 agents, when I did a viewing with the other party they said about how they'd tried to contact holbrooks and couldn't get through. I received a call about a viewing after no contact for weeks and told them the there had been an offer on the house and was sols stc, the woman rudely said you could have told us. I would have if there had been any contact! Overall wouldn't recommend them.
13th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Acceptable experience
11th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)After numerous emails and a email from my landlord to release my deposit refund I am still awaiting this after nearly 3 weeks Really disappointed at lack of communication
15th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)All good, communication, pleasant, helpful staff.
28th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)Recently had a neighbour issue which Shelley was tasked to investigate- I found her to be patient, professional and listened very carefully and fairly to both sides of the argument and now happily it’s resolved, cannot fault the prompt action and response - thankyou
22nd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)They’ve really made things easy for me struggled with a couple things but they helped me
22nd Oct 2025 (1 year ago)Useless company. Don't trust what they say
26th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)I had a really positive experience with the customer service I received. The staff were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout. They listened to my needs, answered all my questions clearly, and made sure everything was sorted quickly and efficiently. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers, and I really appreciated the excellent service. I would definitely recommend them and will happily use their service again.
11th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I would like to say a special shout out to Chris Joyce from lettings, he has shown great professionalism and excellence. He managed to let one of my rooms out in August 2025 and look forward to the next room being let very soon!!
17th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Progression Properties. The accommodation was not properly cleaned or maintained, and the lack of proper locks on doors raised serious concerns about safety and security. Communication was frustrating, and I was disappointed with the overall standard of living conditions. I also found the tenancy notice requirements and additional charges stressful and unclear. Tenants deserve a clean, safe and secure home, along with transparent communication and professional service. I would advise anyone considering renting with this company to inspect the property carefully and get all terms in writing before signing.
2nd Oct 2026 (30 days ago)Janine was amazing. She arranged a viewing very quickly and kept in contact throughout the housing purchase giving updates to both me and the seller. As a first time buyer she was incredible reassuring and talked me through the process advising on time scales.
