Especially impressed by the quality of the viewings where are assigned viewing agent knew our property in and out, and was able to guage interest extremely effecitvely

31st Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Wouldn't recommend for anyone wanting to rent a property.<br>Coming across your reply four years later, I can safely say it is completely pathetic. If you had actually bothered to check, you would know I dealt with your company as a tenant for years.<br>?I was the tenant your agency left over an entire weekend with the sink and dishwasher full of sh*t because the drains blocked completely due to poor construction. It was full of sewage because your maintenance team is useless and failed to treat a critical emergency urgently—all while a young child was living in the house. I should have sued both you and the landlord.<br>?Do you need me to attach the photos of the service that your company left me and my family over the weekend so you remember who I am? Or perhaps I should forward them to the local council so they are fully aware of what kind of company you run?<br>?You are a tenant’s absolute nightmare. I ended up buying the property directly from the owner—the very house I was renting through your agency—and right up until the contract exchange, your office was harassing me to leave. The harassment only stopped when I instructed my solicitor to call your office.<br>Instead apologising you came up with a pathetic reply.<br>Couldn't care less about your reply, unfortunately I have just come across it after years, otherwise it would have been a completely different story??????
1st Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)Ashtons where brilliant when we were buying our home, easily booked viewings and got to see property’s within a day or two.<br><br>When we made an offer and it got accepted they kept us up to date all the way through to completion!<br><br>I especially appreciated Katy, who was so kind caring and made me feel so at ease through that whole process. With being a first time buyer I was unsure on some things, and I felt I could ask her anything and it was never too much.<br><br>I honestly felt like she was just as happy as I was when I got the keys!<br><br>Thankyou to the whole Ashtons team, and an extra special thankyou to Katy!!

This review is in relation to Dan, the valuation manager at the Scarborough branch who was very personable, yet professional when he came to value my house.<br>He discussed everything I wished to know with interest and integrity. His expertise in property was clearly evident yet he totally accepted my thoughts too and we came together with a realistic, fair valuation.<br>Dan took much time and consideration to obtain great photos and Giraffe 360 imagery and worked over his allotted timings. He completed the task to allow for the best possible outcome, a quick, efficient sale of my property.<br>I would highly recommend Reeds Rains, Dan and all the staff and I look forward to working with them again in the future should the situation arise.

From our very first viewing right through to completion, our experience with Roundthwaite & Woodhead has been first class. We had the pleasure of dealing with Sue Pearson throughout the entire process, and she was simply outstanding. She was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and couldn’t have done more to help us every step of the way. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and she made what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and enjoyable. What impressed us even more was that Sue took the time to check in with us after completion to make sure we were settled and happy with our purchase. That level of care and customer service is becoming increasingly rare and was very much appreciated. Having bought many properties over the years, we’ve dealt with numerous estate agents, but Roundthwaite & Woodhead have genuinely outshone them all. Their professionalism, communication and personal approach have been exceptional from start to finish. The team were courteous, responsive, and took the time to explain things clearly when needed. I appreciated their organised approach and the effort they made to keep communication simple throughout. 4th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)From Valuation onwards through marketing and liaison with the Sales team, the performance of the agent was exceptional. The customer service was efficient warm and friendly with attention to detail and the personal touch made it a delight using them, I got a great service and they travelled to Hunmanby from Scarborough to do the valuations, they were always there early so as not to keep the viewers waiting, whereas in my experience with some other local agents this is not a consideration. During the stressful conveyancing process with Solicitors between Exchange and Completion Tracey and her colleagues gave a massive amount of support and as I have moved numerous times over the years, I can tell you Colin Ellis are the best in North Yorkshire, also their fees too are highly competitive which helps tremendously especially when moving home. You won't be disappointed go with the best believe me my review can be verified and trusted. He has advised, answered our questions and guided us through the purchasing process, taking a lot of the stress and strain of doing a long distance move.<br>We would highly recommend Tipple Underwood with special thanks to Jay who is a credit to himself and the company.
