They did a great job with the photos and the listing, and provided regular updates and excellent communication throughout. Shout-out to Millie, Hope and Amber for providing exceptional service at all times. Would wholeheartedly recommend to all.
30th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)From our first contact, to arrange a viewing of the property which we purchased and throughout the protracted process of negotiating and agreeing terms, we were impressed with the manner and professionalism demonstrated by Chris Moffatt. Without his sound advice and considerable assistance, the entire transaction might have foundered - to the detriment of all parties - and his efforts even continued after completion to ensure a satisfactory outcome. Chris was ably supported throughout by Jasmine Emmerson and we would not hesitate to recommend Reeds Rains to anyone looking to sell their property - although we hope it will be a long time before we require your services as we love the new home which your staff helped us to secure.

8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

28th May 2026 (5 days ago)Farrah and Macy at WHB York have been excellent in helping me let out my property. They were responsive, proactive, and clear throughout the process. As a landlord, I especially appreciated their guidance around compliance requirements such as the Renters Rights Act, and their clear explanation of rent guarantee insurance. They also carried out the standard tenant background checks and explained the results clearly, giving me enough information to make a confident decision about proceeding. Other documentation and compliance procedures were handled to a very high standard as well, so I never felt worried about missing anything that could potentially cause issues later as a landlord. Communication was professional and efficient throughout, and they actively worked with me to find suitable tenants rather than simply listing the property and waiting. Macy in particular was very helpful when practical issues came up. She explained quotes clearly, talked through more cost-effective options, and showed a genuine willingness to help find sensible solutions rather than just passing costs on. That gave me a lot of confidence that she was acting in my interests. Overall, I felt well supported throughout the letting process and would happily recommend WHB York to other landlords looking for a reliable, proactive, and trustworthy letting agent.

29th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Whilst not the cheapest option in terms of fees, this was offset by the final offer made which was above the minimum asking price. The sales/admin team work well together meaning queries are efficiently directed to the appropriate personnel. Viewings were managed very effectively with phone calls backed up with confirmation emails. Feedback from viewings was rigorously sought and quickly relayed back to me. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of service given.

8th May 2026 (25 days ago)Hunters are the best estate agents in Selby by far. We moved from one estate agents which had very poor communication and service to Hunters who I can’t fault. James and his team are very professional, very personable and very knowledgeable. Communication was excellent: they kept us up to date at every stage. I would highly recommend Hunters. 22nd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)I have dealt with thomlinsons for nearly 13 years and have always found the staff to be friendly if I had any issues they were dealt with as soon as they could I have mostly dealt with Jane Bruce at wetherby what a lovely lady Jane is my emails and calls were always replied to as soon as possible I have not ever not had a response Jane is knowledgeable on all aspects of housing matters and is a kind caring lady I would not hesitate to use thomlinsons again

I tried many times to communicate with them regarding renting a flat, but because my English isn't perfect, they were completely unhelpful and dismissive. I hope they improve their customer service and learn to be more inclusive

19th May 2026 (14 days ago)We honestly could not recommend Paul highly enough. From start to finish he has been absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. By far the most proactive, friendly, and helpful estate agent we have ever dealt with. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he constantly went out of his way to make sure everything got done and kept moving forward. Paul communicated with us every step of the way, chased things up when needed, and genuinely cared about getting everything sorted for us. To be honest, he did more work than the solicitors at times! A huge thank you to Paul for all of the hard work, support, and professionalism. He is a real credit to the company and genuinely deserves a raise for how much effort he puts in.
