4th Oct 2025 (16 weeks ago)I unfortunately had to write this review following an incident with one of their senior employees whose actions were disproportionate an unprofessional. JASON NWIMO MARLA held our deposit for almost 6 weeks with no real reason. He did not reply to emails, avoided phone calls, he never called back, he was basically unreachable. He only answered when I asked the landlord to reach out to him. We had a dispute with him about some amount on our deposit which was being taken due to end of tenancy cleaning. We had paid a cleaning lady for 8hours to clean the apartment (a tiny 2 bed). Apparently some minor hidden spots were left dusty. Jason decided to charge us 240 pounds for that. Our contract stated “If the report (checkout) notes that further cleaning is required, Knight Frank will arrange this at your cost, in order to put the property in a presentable condition.” The property was left in presentable conditions and the new tenants moved in the next day without any complaints. Yet, breaching contract, 240 pounds money was charged to us without calling any cleaning agency. It was simply charged without explaining why it was 240 pounds and where that money was going . Also Jason he tried to charge us for some mold defects on the ancient timber windows which we complained for years to have fixed. Jason showed that he didn’t really know much about the flat. He did not bother to go through the history of the repairs, the correspondence, the damages. Its easy to manage the flat when you don’t have to do anything at all. We found Jason Nwimo uncollaborative, unprofessional and very intimidating. He never gave an apology for his actions (for instance not replying to phone calls). I hope to never have to deal with someone this mean again and I really do hope Knight Frank take time to evaluate him. Agents should never be nasty. Only because their title says "senior" it doesn't mean they have to power to do as they please to other people. If I was a londlord I would stay away from Jason in fear that he might abuse of other tenants.
11th Jan 2026 (14 days ago)We rented a flat in Mayfair for 12 months through Wetherell. Despite marketing themselves as a luxury agent, our experience with them has been that of slow replies, multiple mistakes, and a general lack of communication. Our flat was not adequately cleaned and did not undergo the maintenance stipulated in our contract prior to moving. Maintenance was then organised after the date we picked up the keys and our move was delayed by several weeks. When our tenancy ended, it took FOUR MONTHS for our deposit to be returned. We tried to chase this through multiple emails and phone calls, many of which were never returned. The staff stated that the delay was due to them chasing a gas invoice (which we had already supplied). In the end our deposit was retuned when we lodged a claim through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, and it was only through the inaction of Wetherell (not responding to our claim within the specified timeframe) that we were able to receive our deposit back.

Thanks to George who has been super helpful, patience and quick response. He was very attentive to my requests and provided much needed advice and recommendations. Really satisfied with the service. Thanks George & Chesterton, we will going to contact you for next short term or long term stay????????????- 15th Jan 2026 (10 days ago)I had an amazing experience working with Cyrus. My friend and I were moving to London for our Master Programs in January and began looking at flats in November. Due to the holiday season and therefore leasing agents' slow response times along with not knowing the UK renting process, it felt impossible. We were two weeks out from moving with still no place to live and no help. We looked up Real Estate companies and found Chestertons and got in contact with Cyrus. He responded immediately and asked us a ton of questions to help him help us. Over the next two week, he worked days, weekends, and nights to help us find a flat and navigate the whole process. He listened to every doubt and answered every question. He negotiated and advocated on our behalf and was extremely communicative. He's the reason we were able to find a flat we love and move in so quickly. I couldn't recommend working with him enough! He took our terrible experience and made it efficient, easy, and successful. 10/10 recommend!

16th Jan 2026 (9 days ago)I was a tenant of a property managed by Petty Son for 4 years and have zero complaints about how they manage tenancies. They are supportive, communicative, and have great digital tools in place to report any issues or repairs needed. Felt they always presented the landlords perspective with understanding of ours, and helped resolve any issues quickly and effectively. Particular thanks to Zoe for all her help. Would recommend renting a Petty Son managed property to anyone.

He didn’t try to push me into flats that weren’t a great fit and instead devoted extra time to my search. Professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout — a great experience from start to finish.

19th Jan 2026 (6 days ago)I have recently rented a flat through this agency and it has been a great experience so far! I’ve had terrible experiences with various estate agents in the past (particularly the big chains…) but you can really feel the difference with this one being independent. They don’t seem out to get you and the great service doesn’t stop as soon as you put your deposit down! Kevin has been amazing and unlike any other agent I’ve dealt with - he’s honest, super responsive and quick to answer my questions (including out of hours), he’s efficient, pragmatic and has made everything very smooth and easy for me throughout the process. He’s also been super helpful with my move-in and follow-up queries. Definitely the best and most personable service I’ve ever had from an estate agent - 10/10 would recommend and I will be sure to reach out to him for any searches I might need in the future!
7th Jan 2026 (18 days ago)We instructed Paul (a founding partner at Moveli) to sell our property in South West London. We were sold on the promise of a personalised, bespoke service that high-street agents couldn't match. In reality, the experience was the complete opposite. ?We constantly had to chase Paul for updates; it felt like we were project managing him rather than the other way around. He was difficult to contact and, concerningly, often seemed to be acting in the interest of our buyers rather than us, his clients. ?In the UK market, sales progression is vital, and this is where the service failed completely. The buyers pulled out two weeks before Christmas without warning. We suspect they were having similar communication issues, and we were shocked that Paul had absolutely no finger on the pulse to see this coming. This eventually caused our chain to collapse and our sellers to withdraw, leaving us out of pocket and having to start the sale and purchase process all over again. ?I strongly advise SW London sellers to avoid! RESPONSE TO MOVELI'S REPLY BELOW: Moveli’s response to this review actually highlights exactly why our experience was so poor. Regarding the timeline: We did lose an onward purchase 3 months into the process. At the time, Paul explicitly assured us that our buyers did not have an issue with this and were happy to continue with the purchase. If they were actually "concerned" as you now claim, Paul failed to communicate this to us or manage expectations. Regarding "access issues": Your reply mentions "delays and difficulties around access." This is the first we are hearing of this. We were never informed of any access issues during the sale. If these issues existed and were annoying the buyers, why did Paul not tell us? The fact that I am finding out about "access issues" and buyer dissatisfaction via a Google Review reply, months later, rather than from my agent during the sale, further reinforces the issues and communication failures I mentioned above.

This agency made the whole rental process easy from start to finish. Loreen and Tracy handled all the paperwork and details perfectly, keeping everything organised and stress-free. Tracy was professional, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions. A great team that I would happily recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agency.

They have so much local knowledge and are always prompt with any queries. I have worked with James, Don & more recently with Krissy. Krissy has been excellent at handling all my concerns & any issues that arise. Nothing is too much trouble. Appreciate all the efforts that she put into maintaining a happy & smooth client & tenant relationship.

Since then they have contacted me every year despite me saying I’m not interested and stop contacting me. Yesterday they called me 5 times in quick succession and I told them not interested. Today they have called me again from a different number and emailed me. This is bordering on harassment and I am getting seriously annoyed.
16th Jan 2026 (9 days ago)This is one of the worst customer experiences we had moving into our new apartment. The day we had agreed to move in as per our agreement the flat had not been cleaned since the previous tenant, repairs had not been made where needed and we could not reach our agent to get the keys which also were unavailable to us. In addition to this the street the apartment is located was closed due to a football match, imperative information for new tenants on move in day. We had paid for mover's and car rentals to get our belongings into the property which all had to be re-scheduled and resulted in us paying more than double to re-arrange. No one at the office was able to help us. We eventually accessed the property to find there were so many issues, left over rubbish by the previous tenant, the end of tenancy clean, was surface level at best. We have tried repeatedly to contact and receive compensation for what was a truly horrendous experience. Avoid this office if you can, no one takes any responsibility and just passes blame off to another employee.
