6th Feb 2021 (3 years ago)The Covid pandemic has not made it easy to sell our beautiful 17th century cottage with having to make many challenging decisions along the way! However, with Harry Sheppard's expert help, this challenge was made much easier: always supportive at the other end of the phone, he encouraged us through a couple of fallen-through sales! Our 62 viewings were expertly managed by three of Knight Frank representatives, Patti, Philippa & Sara, with wonderful communications left at all times. At the end of 15 months, the team felt like part of our family! We highly recommend Knight Frank Oxford for their competitiveness, professionalism, friendliness and patience. Many, many thanks to you all!

We faced multiple challenges when trying to find & secure an onward property but they handled our sale amazingly. They were realistic but positive throughout which kept us going when I would have otherwise have given up. I would highly recommend the team.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

(27 reviews)4th May 2024 (14 days ago)Mark David ‘MD’ do not follow The Property Ombudsman Code ‘TPO.’ I terminated MD. When I later exchanged contracts, MD invoiced in full. Successful agent said MD not entitled to Dual Fees given no Effective Introduction, which MD accept. So I queried the invoice. 35 minutes later, and not addressing the TPO points, MD threatened court. Despite MD being in breach of contract, the court found for them under an Agency Terms tail. Learnings: i. TPO must take precedence in the contract; ii. MD are highly litigious
27th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)Interest rates rose shortly after initial valuation so reductions were necessary but disappointing. Advertising on Rightmove, Zoopla etc is standard so nothing special.

From the very start of our sale process, it was clear that Martyn and the whole team at Breckon & Breckon are dedicated professionals, all of whom are extremely experienced, competent, easy to work with and reliable. Martyn's regular communication and guidance was impeccable, and when we ran into challenges, he was always on board to support us and demonstrate flexibility and true service. Their network of buyers meant we received consistent, viable queries and we agreed to a sale on our property within 2 months, certainly an indication of Martyn and the team's commitment to their clients' needs. We cannot recommend Breckon & Breckon Woodstock more for all sale, purchase and lettings processes. Huge thanks to the whole team.

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

Even so, we were completely blown away by the high standard of service, support and advice we received throughout the process of selling our home. The current system for buying & selling homes in the UK is out dated and simply put it increases the stress and worry for sellers and buyers alike. Round & Jackson are a local, independent team who really understand this, they are passionate and dedicated to provide support throughout the process and actively strive to reduce stress and worries. Putting our property on the market was sleek, we were invited to input and were given constructive advice on every aspect. When receiving our draft details, we were delighted to see that the marketing not only gave an accurate representation of our property but also, they were written and presented uniquely to our property. Viewings were carried out with the upmost professionalism with the whole team committed to ensure that potential buyers could view at their convenience with timely feedback sought after every viewing. We have sold our property at a time when the property market is incredibly busy, however Round & Jackson were still able to ensure that the sale went through as timely as possible, having a clear handle at all times on exactly what stage in the process we were at and that we were kept updated. No query or question was ever too much trouble for them to answer and they were incredibly approachable and proactive in ensuring that the process was as straightforward as it could be for both us and the buyers of our property. On their website, Round & Jackson introduce themselves as offering a “modern approach with honest and traditional values and we aim to provide the highest level of service to sellers and buyers” our experience is that they absolutely achieve this and more. Your experience as a seller gives good insight into the conduct and ethics of an Estate Agent and if buying, unquestionably a property marketed by Round & Jackson would give us complete confidence as a buyer. At the start of the process, it is easy to underestimate the importance and value of using an excellent agent. Negative: They valued our property at an ambitious price which sadly didn't receive any offers, even after reducing the price. Unfortunately a window was left open at the property following a viewing on more than one occasion.

1st Apr 2024 (7 weeks ago)We have recently completed the sale of my 91-year-old uncle's bungalow through Property Owl. Over the years, I have been involved in selling a number of properties with varying experiences of agents and I have to say that Ammar's service was truly exceptional. My uncle sometimes gets a bit confused about dealing with administrative matters, and Ammar was very patient and thoughtful with him - it was his first house move in 50 years, so very stressful for him. Ammar's kindness and patience was very helpful as we live over an hour away. He also chased the sales process very effectively, liaising with the buyer, the solicitors involved and the sales lady at the retirement complex my uncle moved into; he kept us informed about the progress throughout. He even offered to take cuttings from a bush in the garden, and turned up on moving day to help where he could! Recommended unreservedly - thanks, Ammar!
