Taylors are absolutely brilliant. I bought my flat through them and they were organised, efficient and an absolute pleasure to deal with. It makes such a difference working with people who know what they are doing, and are good communicators.
I have been forced to write this because I want everyone to be aware of what we are getting into here.
I have been renting one of their house for the last 2 year, I have just started my third and for all this time I have always been patient and respectful with them, but it seems the more you educated you are with them the less they care.
I pay a lot of money for my rent because is "managed" and let met tell you, a managed property is just a rip off to take more money from you and the landlord, because the level of quality and service is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS.
I don't have a single positive experience, when one wrong thing happens it may due to many reasons, 2 well it may happen, BUT when EVERY SINGLE time it happens is just the same, it means that is how they are.
The house I rent is old, so obviously you are going to encounter lots of issues over time, which is fine is nobody's fault, but if to fix those issues it takes you MONTHS, YEARS and many emails and calls, then THERE is an issue.
When I first moved the heating wasn't working properly, it would start and stop at random times, asked them hundreds of times to find and fix the problem, they said they could not find anything wrong I had to pay someone to find the problem and then request them to change the damage part, of course that is money they never gave me back. (it took 8 months to solve this)
5 months after I moved the electricity in the house started to just switch off at random moments, you could imagine how irritating that is, but more than that it was the possibility of something dangerous happening that could potentially get the house on fire, not to forget that I may come home to find the freezer and fridge off and the food damaged of course.
For such a serious problem it took them 4 months to even SEND someone to check what the problem was, 2 visits and the problem was found, it was a simple thing, but it took them 4 months to send someone.
The Lino in the kitchen was ruined because of the electric problem, by moving everything in the kitchen, fridge, freezer and so on.
I requested to change it (either by me BY ME PAYING, but since I need approval for any change since is not my house I could not do it even if I paid for it) it took them 18 Months, yes 1.5 Years to change the Lino.
Last week the freezer completely died so I lost all my food, hundreds of pounds worth of food, but is ok, is not their fault that the freezer died, stuff happens, fine.
However I have used their web portal, called them, but they say this is not an emergency, a week later, still NOTHING, I can't buy meat or anything that needs to be frozen, because well they don't care.
You call them all they say is we will call you back, THEY DON'T.
I don't understand why me or the Landlord pay this agency for, it makes no sense is giving them money for DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
I am on the border of desperation that you fear anything happens because you will have to deal with an agency that doesn't care absolutely at all.
I just renewed my contract as I said and I would really like to speak with my landlord to understand because honestly it makes no sense, they have not even given me a copy of my contract for the last 2 years, which BY LAW I SHOULD HAVE.
I am borderline desperate, if the Landlord reads this (this is going to be post on facebook too) I would really like to have a chat with him I am sure with my name he knows who he is.
Barton Flemming have just marketed and sold my late mother-in-laws house. From the outset it was clear that I was going to get a first class service. Mathews photographs were exceptional, showing the property at its best. Colin, Mathew and Terry's attention to detail, and friendly efficient approach made the whole process stress free. I was kept up to date at every stage of the sale. I highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to sell their property, I would not use anyone else.
Honestly these guys were brilliant, they always got back to us promptly, they were highly professional and helped manage bidders in a sensitive situation. I could not fault them at all, we achieved a fantastic price for our house, far more in some instances that other agents even valued it at so we are delighted. Even after we had accepted an offer they continued to help, Colin in particular was great and managed communications and queries between us and the buyers in a very professional and efficient manner. He also helped considerably with the solicitors and moving things along. I would have no hesitation in recommending them all and if we were staying in the UK then I would definitely use them again.
A very professional Team, went the extra mile. Special thanks to James and Danny
We bought a house via Connells Estate Agents in Bicester and had an appalling experience, from being bullied by the negotiator to outright harassment. Incidentally it was very interesting to find out from the sellers what he was telling them about us as buyers which was totally untrue.
Big thanks to Ben who has very recently assisted my girlfiend and I in our first house purchase!
From our initial chat and house viewing, all the way to completion Ben has been faultless.
Communication has always been very quick and efficient whether that was arranging a further viewing, making an offer or arranging completion.
The house purchase from start to finish has been very quick and stress free.
Unlike some other local agents Ben always managed to answer any queries we had very quickly and assist with negotiations without needing to apply any pressure or over push a sale from the beginning, very helpful and honest during the whole process with good knowledge of the area.
Ben was also very helpful with communication between us and the vendors making the process easy for both.
Would 100% recomend Quadrant and in Particular making direct contact with Ben if you are looking to make a house purchase or even a sale..for our first house purchase it couldn't have gone any better and I would definately return in the future if we are to sell!
Quadrant Estate Agents have been fantastic in helping me sell my home. When I first went to Quadrant office in Bicester it was lovely to meet a team who are friendly and professional. Martin (Associate Director) was extremely helpful, explaining in detail the procedure of selling my home and was very patient with all of my questions! My house was put on the market and within 24 hours I had three offers on the table. The sales team at Quadrant were really efficient and pro-active in getting house viewings booked in straight away. I believe that this is one of the reasons that selling my house has been quick and relatively stress free! Knowing that I have a great team of dedicated and hard working professionals, I am confident that this will be the easiest and most enjoyable house move I have experienced! I would definitely recommend Quadrant Estate Agents and I will certainly use them again in the future.
Chancellors and Annie have been fantastic. Extremely professional and the whole process has moved quickly and efficiently.
I was looking for a place to rent and Callum showed me around 4 properties. I decided to go with the first one and Chris went to extra mile to arrange a second viewing in the evening hours after my initial appointment couldn't go through at the original time and I was leaving the area. The handling of the paper work was smooth and Chris and Annie answered all my questions satisfactory.
