Before entering any properties Tim got to know us and our requirements but also was really informative about the areas we were planning to head to. Painful,Awful , Hope to never deal with again.
The house we purchased was unfortunately on the market with William's Property's and up to the point of putting in the offer they were fantastic but straight after offer accepted i had to chase every day, requested water was on but when i went 1 hour trip it was not on , had to come back again , constantly chased listing many points but would come back with an answer to just one. Personally think they knew about many issues with the house but just took a blind eye to it. I even on completion did not have all my keys !! they had to get them shipped from the owner. why not have them before hand (the house was on the market for ages) if/when we sell wont list with these guys .. maybe ok if your selling but buying i felt like i had to chase daily. and never got any answers and yes i know they work for their client but when im parting with close to 500k i expect some kind of professionalism !!!
David Weeks was attentive, courteous and communicative. We were confident that his advice was sound.
We have not sold a house for 30 years so we approached the sale with trepidation. We need not have worried as Jon at Thomas Merrifield held our hand all the way through. He negotiated a very good price with our sellers and the process was managed smoothly throughout. I would highly recommend them, from working with us to gauge the right price, through the advertising and subsequent viewings the service was excellent. Jon was always on hand to answer queries or to prod when things were stalling ; highly professional yet at the same time friendly. We cannot thank him and the team enough for making a stressful process far less stressful.
From the start had 5* service from Jack and Jane. They helped me to find the perfect home ???? for my family, I am very thankful to you ????

I am an inventory clerk. I look at houses after tenants have left and report on what, if any, cleaning, maintenance, repairs and so on need doing.
I was asked by a lettings clerk at Connells, Bicester, to do an urgent checkout at a house they manage in the town. The next day. I went to the house. The tenants had moved but the landlords were there. The landlords didn’t want to use me, as they had no time for Connells. I told them I was independent, so they asked me to do the report. I did it (without going on endlessly, the landlord was justified in their concerns about Connells).
I sent the report to Connells. They received it but never paid my bill. After a month of waiting and fruitless chasing, I passed the bill and a complaint to the clerk’s lettings manager at Bicester. No response -except an out of office auto reply – from him. either.
No complaint from Connells or question of it, just no response.
I have been running my own business since about 1990. Of the dozens of lettings companies I have dealt with in that time, Connells, lettings, Bicester is the most unprofessional company . I have ever dealt with.
I stress that this is not general complaint about Connells (or indeed sales at Connells Bicester). I have done work for them elsewhere and they have been fine.
Excellent service from every member of staff I dealt with. Indebted for the speed with which they worked at helping my elderly mother move to Oxford. The contrast between the staff and service received from this agency and the larger, well- known ones was enormous. If you value professional, attentive service, you won't find better.

Extremely disappointed with this local agent.
Attempted to purchase a property from them.
Agreed a sale and then Agent informed me his vendor had changed their mind.
Incurred legal fees after a sale was agreed only to have sale conditions changed.
Alistair then told me. He suspected he would have challenges with this vendor after I had spent 250 quid on legal fees.
Worst agent in Kidlington in my opinion after first hand experience with all other agents.
So far my experience with Alexander & Co has been positive. Mary is very helpful, friendly and professional, and has answered all queries promptly. I cannot give a full review as I am still waiting for a move in date to their property, but so far so good.
Just to add: I was asked by the company to give a 5* review. This being said, I would have considered doing so anyway once we have moved if everything goes smoothly.
Lets hope the takeover by Alexander and Co makes wholesale changes because Bannisters are by far the worst letting agent I have ever had misfortune to deal with. We love the area and have great neighbours and do not really want to leave, but their level of customer service and engagement are almost non-existent. We have been at the property a while and have struggled since day one to get anything out of them, the house wasn't handed over in decent order and it their completion rate on reported defects is less than 25%. Getting information from them is almost impossible unless they will make some money out of it. Avoid at all costs

I have found my experience with the Bicester branch of Chancellors in- particular the young female sales negotiator extremely traumatic, I believe her name to be Charlotte. Not only have I found them to be rude but very dismissive of my needs whilst looking to purchase a house. With so many estate agents available in Bicester avoid Chancellors at all costs!.
