I dealt primarily with Miriam who possesses genuinely excellent customer service skills, it is clearly a natural ability she has to interact with clients. She was proactive, highly communicative and understanding to my needs at all times. She is a true asset to this company. My interaction with her manager Bernice were equally as positive.<br><br>I also found the property to be well and accurately described online with no ambiguities (something which cannot be said for other agencies) and the detailed documentation and information received before and during move-in was helpful.

Making false promises and claims from the start.- 29th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I have found Bev to be professional friendly and very helpful<br>She has been prepared to go the extra mile by contacting me even when it is her non-working day<br>I have been particularly impressed by her straight edge<br>If she doesn’t know the answer to a question, she will admit it and go away and find out rather than resorting to confabulation on the spot<br>Moreover she does not utilise any pressure selling techniques which are typical of her profession which is a welcome and refreshing change.<br>As a person who has been radicalised by common decency I highly recommend her.<br>if you are selling your house, you want this woman to do it for you<br>if you are a potential buyer and come across her then you will have a pleasant experience

DO NOT USE THIS LETTING AGENCY!<br><br>As a young family, the sheer stress, intimidation, and disgraceful conduct we suffered from Rebecca Moore at Austwick Berry and this landlord is beyond disgusting.<br><br>They ignored basic repairs for months leaving us with a broken door and a broken washing machine yet rushed to pull thousands of pounds in random, fabricated charges out of thin air the moment we moved out. Rebecca sent us a ridiculous bill claiming thousands for items that were already damaged when we moved in, including hundreds for an old, pre-used rug without providing a single receipt, proof of age, or proper breakdown.<br><br>When we politely requested basic proof and receipts, Rebecca escalated to aggressive, high-handed intimidation tactics, even threatening us with police involvement over a standard civil deposit dispute.<br><br>The moment they were forced to put up actual evidence to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), they had nothing. Rebecca Moore and Austwick Berry have put our young family through months of severe distress, lost work days, and appalling treatment. Complete cowboys—avoid this agency at all costs.<br><br>You messed with the wrong ones this time ??????!
23rd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I had a very hard time finding a flat before working with Northwood and I cannot fault their service whatsoever. If there were delays, the representatives were quick to get in touch and explain the process. If I had queries, they answers were comprehensive and fast. My representative was Lauren, who initially showed me around the property and was with me every step of the way in getting all the correct documents in, planning a moving in date etc. I have moved a few times now but this has been the least stressful experience I've had thus far - 5 stars and special thanks to Lauren Cudd, who made it not only a stress-free experience but an enjoyable one as well.

No ownership taken by any member of staff when enquiring about completing standard land lord/letting agency jobs where property maintenance is required to maintain a safe living environment.

I’m a first time buyer who has requested to view a flat at Unicorn House 3 times, with no reply. I requested to view the property before it was reduced, nobody even acknowledged my request. Asked again TWICE after it was reduced last week and have heard NOTHING.<br><br>What’s the point of being an estate agent if you don’t respond to view requests???- 22nd Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)Recently sold a house with Hamilton Smith Claydon and they were excellent! They were transparent about the process and Karen would always make time to speak to me when I needed to chat. The team at Grace also ensured I was able to get quick viewings at the property when requested. Both Karen and Lewis were very friendly and open, and I appreciate the time they gave me throughout the process.
