22nd Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)I was introduced to McDougall McQueen through Sylvia from 'Selling with Sylvia' who dealt with the initial sale. Sylvia dealt with the process from the start through to sale when it was passed on to McDougall McQueen to deal with the legal side. Sylvia was excellent, explained the process, answered all my questions really quickly and was always available. The legal side of the sale was dealt with Susan Oates from McDougal McQueen. Susan was very efficient, answered all my questions quickly, was very approachable and got things done. I have no hesitation in recommending Sylvia and McDougall McQueen.

I recently sold my rental property and I was seriously impressed with the knowledge and advice provided by Chris, all delivered with a personal touch. Once the property was ready to market, Chris and the team secured a number of offers within a couple of weeks, and again, he was always available to provide advice on which offer to accept. Throughout the sale process Chris and Jade kept me informed along the way, ensuring the whole transaction went through smoothly. I can’t recommend them enough - great value for money!

18th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)We recently used Moving Works for our house sale. We decided to go with them after seeing how much more effort they put into their customers house sale listings. Their presentation, photos/videos and detail are levels above the competition. It only got better as it went on. Our assigned agent Philippa was simply incredible from start to finish. She was so easy to get on with and when it came to the work, nothing was too much. She was proactive, responsive and knowledgeable about anything that we threw at her. 24 hours after our house was listed we got 7 viewings for the weekend and 24 hours after the viewings that Philippa did for us, we got 4 offers above asking price. The best decision we ever made with regards to our house, you really are in safe hands with Philippa and Moving Works. We highly recommend, 100% brilliant experience

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
