From viewing the house to completion Toni was competent attentive and engaging. If it hadn’t been for Toni I would have been kept in the dark throughout the whole experience of purchasing my house. She maintained high standards at all times and is a very focused team member at Reeds Rains. I’m very happy with the way my purchase was handled and I received excellent customer service.
The most incompetent bunch of neanderthals you could ever have the misfortune to deal with. Do not use this company! Avoid Avoid Avoid.
Highly recommend Farrell Heyworth! Laura Gill helped me with my rental property and gave me expert advice that I didn't know about! Very helpful and patient and kept in touch. Lots of information to remember with renting but Laura made it easy and simple. 5 stars
Farrell and Heyworth were great when the house was put on the market. They organised lots of viewings and were good with negotian on price. After sales their communication was not as good. We went with solicitors that they recommended and the communication between both parties was pretty poor at the beginning. So next time I would probably just find my own solicitors. However overall they have been a good estate agent; which you would expect for their cost.
Tough times at the moment in lettings and I've been having doubts about what to do with my investment properties and also my parents investment property, but Laura gave me the advice and confidence I needed to put my mind at ease. Expert guidance is what I've been trying to get help with the last couple of weeks from agents but not much honestly or advice has made me question what's best to do, but with the help of Laura who was transparent I now feel confident to get my properties rented out. Anyone looking for advice and guidance during this confusing time then I can highly recommend contacting Laura Gill at the Chorley Branch Farrell Heyworth. THANK YOU LAURA
I agreed with LW at the Chorley branch for the cash purchase of a property in the Chorley area. Within 7 days of the agreement, I had transferred funds to my solicitor for completion on the Friday. As I had not heard from my solicitor by noon on the Friday I phoned LW at Farrell Heyworth, to be told that someone had placed a higher bid that day.
She didn't even have the decency to phone me & give me the opportunity to re-bid.
Disgraceful, unprofessional are 2 words that spring to mind. I have in the last 10 months bought 3 similar properties all for cash.... I will never use Farrell Heyworth ever again.
Completley dishonorable, in my opinion
A very positive experience. Professional and helpful throughout.
I would definitely recommend them. " IF" I move again, 1st port of call !
Terrible service and experience ! Made an Offer on a house, I later found the vendor to be a personal friend of Ben.
Spent and wasted £500 on a survey that resulted in the property being significantly down valued by 10k, but of course the RICS valuer was at fault !
Pulled out of purchase at that point, as vendor refused to even meet halfway.
I was constantly chasing up enquires throughout, severe lack of communication from this agent, never called when promised, extremely poor customer service, was a lucky escape in hindsight!
Great, friendly staff who are always happy to help. Very professional and organised!
Not a company I would recommend, unfortunately they do have a sort of monopoly over Buckshaw Village. I would advise any potential customers to check their inventories carefully upon entry (with pics if necessary) in preparation for their exit.
My welcome inspection was practically a whirlwind, leaving me to check all faults after the agent had left. They were quick to get some repair work done upon entry, however I feel that much of it should have been done as standard before I moved into the property. Some remained unresolved.
Most properties in Buckshaw aren't that old however little effort to freshen them up between tenants has been made and they are becoming tired. The flat I was in had many signs of wear and tear which leads me to conclude that either check-out procedures have previously been slack and I got unlucky. The only other possibility is that charges are made for damage and the repair work not carried out. Any potential charges to be taken out of your deposit are not made clear until several weeks after your exit, when the return of the deposit is necessary. When you finally do get them, they are unreasonable. I also found Red Rose to be slow responding to queries regarding money being returned.
As I have previously been a landlord, when I compare the service provided to previous estate agents in other areas, I find it sadly lacking. I would advise anyone thinking of using them to consider carefully.
I would also like to point out that at least four of the below reviews are from staff giving an extremely biased rating.
