19th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)We have recently sold our house and was incredibly lucky to meet Jayne from W H Brown at the Newland Avenue branch in Hull. Jayne is very professional, kind, and easy to speak too. She helped and guided us every step of the way from start to finish as she was so conscientious. On some occasions we spoke to Amber, the manager who also gave good advice and was understanding with her warm approach. It was great to have a peace of mind knowing that you are being well looked after at this branch.
1st Aug 2024 (1 year ago)As a prospective buyer, I have found the staff at HPS to be extremely helpful. In my opinion they are managing their sales in a timely manner from the point of the For Sale board being erected to then being able to view a property straight away, there was no delay between the point of it being advertised ...with the board and internet. In my opinion this demonstrates their efficiency and is the reason why I would recommend them.

My father's property has been on the market for a year and Jane s assistance and positivity has been crucial for the sale which took over 6 months. She went the extra mile looking at electricity readings for me! Her regular welcome feedback, constant dialogue between buyer and seller was crucial, as at times I thought I would lose the sale. Jane Thank you - you and your team are a real credit to the company.

The communication was awful, even after asking for someone to contact me to discuss matters my requests were ignored. When I decided to leave, no one bothered to ask me why. Strange behaviour for a high street agency.

Was apologised to at the point and was told would get regular updates every 4 weeks as a minimum. Another 6 weeks went by with no communication whatsoever until chasing them again. Eventually had enough and took it off the market with them.

27th May 2026 (18 days ago)We have just sold through Lovelle and the service has been first class. They actively market properties to their customer base and beyond, they give good advice on making the property more saleable, and they chase offers and sales to ensure they are moving along (Pearl is very good at the latter). We had excellent service from Lee, above and beyond what I expected and what I've experienced previously either in East Yorkshire or elsewhere. Highly recommended.

I tried many times to communicate with them regarding renting a flat, but because my English isn't perfect, they were completely unhelpful and dismissive. I hope they improve their customer service and learn to be more inclusive

31st May 2026 (14 days ago)I have to say I haven’t felt so comfortable buying a house knowing that we had someone like Ashleigh running the show. Everything was under control, from viewing our new property, then having the expert knowledge to know the target audience for our old house. Communication was 5 star, daily updates via the phone & WhatsApp groups. She had her foot on the pedal at all times when it came to dealing with solicitors, getting the house sale and purchase pushed through within 3 months. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
