27th May 2026 (17 days ago)As a landlord, my wife and I decided that with the complications of new landlord tenancy acts coming into force perhaps now is the time to consider appointing an agent. Being wary, we decided to provide a single property with Wm H Brown. We met with their representative Ms Lily Telford. It would be an understatement to say that we were impressed with Lily’s ability knowledge energy and keenness to serve and to help us. Miss Telford did exactly what she promised us…..she let the Property at a good rental within 48 hours we were astonished. We then came into contact with other members of Lily Telford‘s team, each one of them a clone of her professionalism and keenness to help and to serve us. This has proven to be a very good move for us and I highly recommend any Property owner with a single or multiple Properties…..you will not find a better letting agent than Ms Lily Telford and her team at Wm H Brown.- 31st May 2026 (13 days ago)Been very happy with how Beercocks have handled the sale of my property so far. Katie and the sales team have been great throughout the process, providing a realistic market value of my property, putting up an advert that has attracted multiple viewings in a short space of time and helpfully arranging the viewings at times convenient for me. 14th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I send an enquiry about a property and no reply and then they didn't want to help me so I said today I said DSS no reply or Nothing this is pure blank discrimination book of someone is autistic I think for enquiries and not even got back to me because I'm autistic and didn't want to help me find a house in York is fine by me this will go to a civil clean- 12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Thank you to Letara who helped us through the process of buying a flat in Bridlington and relocating from the Midlands. Nothing was too much trouble for her from the first viewing to completion. I would recommend Reeds Rains for their support and professionalism.

Patient and appreciative of the need to allow us space to make decisions without pressure. I would not hesitate in both recommending and returning to Hunters in the future.
1st May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Belts Estate Agency have been excellent from first contact, our house details with superb photographs and detailed descriptions led to our buyers being introduced by Belts within 28 days. They kept in touch with other agents in the ‘chain’ to keep things moving along until moving day.. Would totally recommend their service.

We bought our first home through them and they were very friendly, helpful and cooperative throughout the entire process. They even gave us a gift bag at the end with a hamper and a bottle of bubbly! Megan my main contact answered emails immediately, picked up the phone to my every call (there were many), she chased conveyancers throughout the chain, supported us through frustrations and even arranged the meter readings when they were due. Megan was so lovely and kind while maintaining her professionalism. I cannot recommend them enough. Also a shout out to the rest of the team who did the viewings, took meter readings, turned down the heating after a cold spell and generally kept an eye on an empty property.

Selling houses is always stressful and seldom goes without some issue or other but the team at Oscars dealt with everything and gave the best advice to help us achieve a very successful sale. They have been totally.on top of every aspect of the sale, including suggesting tradesmen that I could use for various investigative things. They contacted me.every week with an update, allowing me the opportunity to chase things up with my solicitors and vice versa. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, personable and professional. 4th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)At the initial valuation, the valuer was professional and had researched thoroughly prior to the visit which allowed me to achieve a price I was happy with in a quick time. From that point, I received regular and prompt communication from the Wigwam team - this allowed the process to run smoothly and was stress free. 26th May 2026 (18 days ago)Tried to scam me out of my deposit. Added £200 deep cleaning and general wear and tear charges to my end-of-tenancy costs. They were actually trying to charge me an £250 on top of the deposit they already had (£500+). Not to mention the fact that they tried to charge me an extra £169 on top of the rent that I owed to them. If I hadn’t called it out, I doubt it would have been returned to me when the “mistake” was noticed. I made sure to let them know they were scammers and that I’d be taking it further via the DPS. My landlord was kind enough to drop all of the charges and help me out with this situation, but I would avoid them at all costs because I got very lucky by having a good landlord.
