3rd Sep 2019 (6 years ago)After going to multiple estate agents, we finally found luck with The Property Shop, Spoke to Lisel in there. Helped us out hugely with finding a flat suitable for us. Covered all our needs and any questions were soon answered, would highly recommend. Thanks for the help!

From start to finish he’s been professional, supportive, approachable and always kept us updated every step of the way. Moving house is stressful, but Andrew made the whole process feel so much easier with his calm manner, excellent communication and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he always went above and beyond to help things move along smoothly. We’re so grateful for all his hard work and would highly recommend Andrew and Burnetts Estate Agents to anyone buying or selling a home. Thank you again for all your help!

17th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)Asked if it was possible to get a all be it large reduction on a rental property per month if I were to guarantee the rent for 4/5 years and was sent a very passive aggressive response from the lettings manager Edward Gailey “so just to be clear you’re offering X for a property listed at X per month?” Unwarranted response when he could have just said that this wasn’t possible on this property and then could have suggested some other properties in my bracket! None the less they have lost a tenant that was about to let 4 properties in one go! Oh well, maybe some customer service training wouldn’t go a miss for Mr Gailey lettings manager?

28th Jul 2025 (10 mo. ago)Had a very easy tenancy with GK Whites for the past year. We had very few problems with the property but found them very responsive and friendly when we did have issues. It was a great experience for us as students renting for the first time, highly recommend!

10th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)Extremely poor experience as block management . Basic management tasks were not carried out, instructions were repeatedly ignored, and financial records were inconsistent. Communication was defensive, aggressive rather than constructive when issues were raised, and the firm resigned abruptly without a proper handover instead of rectifying the issues, The service fell well below the standard expected of a professional managing agent … well obviously they are not professional! Not recommended , stay well away from !!

6th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)James from G&S was excellent, very helpful and not at all pushy or salesy. I found him very knowledge and just a really nice guy, so patient and happy to help as well. I have to say I felt very safe in his hands, which I found reassuring when lettiing my home. I felt I was seen as a person and not just another deal that needed to get signed off quickly. Within a week James had organised 5 couples to view and then he went through each applicant with me, stating their strengths or weaknesses as tenants. I felt that he wouldn’t have let me go forward with anyone he didn’t feel would be a good choice. They also organise everything you need, the EPC, gas and electric safety checks and itinerary. Nothing was too much trouble. I would whole heartedly recommend G&S, they’ve got it right, and the office is more accessible for parking being just outside of the main town.

The renting process was very quick and systematic, with transparency, they've gone out of their way to facilitate us here in Brighton. Once I forgot my key by accident and Neil was so kind to drive to the office, retrieve an extra key for us and help us get in. THANK YOU GUYS !

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. He assisted us in deciding on the features we were most concerned about. When things were moving slowly he offered new perspectives. After making an offer, Ashley managed the negotiations and kept us informed about progress, always returning calls and emails without delay.
