Brices were always quick to address any issues, always responded to emails and calls and acted fairly and professionally as an intermediate between myself and the landlord. It was a pleasure being supported by Matt on, at times, a daily basis and his calm, pragmatic approach made a huge difference in some stressful times. They also went above and beyond on a particular matter which impressed us hugely and demonstrated that it's not just about the bottom line. We will be returning to Fine & Country when we're next selling again (hopefully not for 10+ years though!).

We are so grateful to the team, and especially Jo Eldridge, for their attention to detail and commitment. Selling and buying a home is a huge milestone and can be quite eventful. However, our experience has ended successfully - moving into our dream home because of the team's dedication and relentless pursuit to advocate for their client the whole time. There has never been a time where our needs, queries or support weren't answered immediateness & the whole process made us feel high-priority. I would highly recommend this branch for outstanding customer service and treating house buying and selling with a human approach. Thank you.

7th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)Fox & Sons are currently in the process of supporting us purchasing our first home. From the outset they have been incredibly helpful, honest and communicative. The whole team are great - however, I have to single out Annabel - who has provided us with an outstanding service from the very start. She has worked to support 2 very nervous FTB with their many questions and concerns and recommended an incredible broker (Nick R) who helped us acquire a fantastic deal on our mortgage in a rush before rates jumped up. She has also pointed us in the right direction for other services we required and her recommendations have panned out very well for us so far. Annabel is a real credit to the branch. Simon and Gregory, I have never met - but both great on the phone and nothing is ever too much trouble.

9th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

23rd Mar 2026 (26 days ago)Thomas and his team were efficient, professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Whatever we needed answering, support or chasing they were on it quickly. Thomas knew exactly what we wanted/needed in a home. Francis gave us updates weekly, daily towards exchange and completion. Also a big Thank You to Adele too. We are in our forever home and it's all Thanks to Thomas and his team.
4th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment booked to view a shop and had to take time off work to attend. I drove 45 minutes to the location, but when I arrived there was no one there to meet me or open the property, I contacted the office, only to be told that they had forgotten about the appointment and asked me to rearrange for another day. This was a complete waste of my time and very unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and organisation so this doesn’t happen to others.
