I liked the honesty he showed towards me, his understanding of the local market and advise from the get go, I was extremely impressed. On instruction I popped the keys to the office and was greeted by both Joe and Kate. I felt in good hands. Without the professionalism I'm convinced the process would have taken longer. Kate's ability to go the extra mile meant that we were being updated as the buyer felt she could be honest and frank with Kate. I would say 'trust' isn't as common as much as we all want but Kate you can rely on. With my experience I would no hesitation in recommending working with Kate and Joe.

18th Mar 2026 (4 weeks ago)I have endured the worst service ever from Scott estates , Havelock road, Hastings. During my entire life that I have rented properties. Do NOT trust this company. . Im still trying to get my deposit back from a house I wanted to rent. I was asked to pay over £2000.00 before they even let view have a 2 nd viewing 5 days later. The agent who took on my case, said I could contact him on his personal mobile number, which I thought was inappropriate at the time. I believe because of my stress and anxiety I trusted the agent , so I paid up front. The place appeared to me on arrival, was definitely uninhabitable ( I took photographs to prove the awful issues) they have refused to take any responsibility whatsoever and told me they have no responsibility now and it’s out of their hands.every time I emailed, I received no further response and when I called on many occasions, He hung up the phone ( most afternoons) and it went to a recording answer machine” our offices are now closed. It was usually in the morning or afternoon. The landlord is not answering to my emails as he still has just under £2000.00 that belongs to me. I am now currently seeking advice to take them and the landlord to court as advised through Trading standards I would not recommend at all

From the very beginning they were professional, proactive, and incredibly easy to communicate with. They kept me fully updated throughout the process and were always available to answer questions or offer helpful advice. Most impressively, they managed to sell my house within a week, which exceeded my expectations. Their knowledge of the local market, clear communication, and organised approach made the entire process feel smooth and well managed. Max and Fred were both friendly and professional throughout, and I always felt confident that my sale was in good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in Lewes.
