25th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)We visited several agents before choosing Your Move Falkirk to find a new tenant for s rental property. We decided upon Your Move because of the professional and reassuring manner by which we were dealt with. The process from start to finish was seamless and we were impressed that our points of contact was limited to Lisa and Fiona, both of whom were always aware of our current situation. The flat was visited by Lisa and she was clear in her expectations in regards to a suitable tenant and this was reflected in the viewers. We were delighted with our tenant who we feel meets our expectations. The main point in any review is whether we would use Your Move Falkirk again and we happily would do so,

Absolutely fantastic service, they had my flat on the market and sold within 3 weeks and managed to get me an unbelievable, life changing price for my flat. Would highly recommend using the Dennistoun Countrywide team. Their communication is outstanding, and everything was made easy for me to understand. 10/10.
5th May 2024 (6 mo. ago)I have rented a house via Slater Hogg & Howison for close to 6 years now. Over this time there's been certain repairs needing attention ie damp and black mould. I have kept this house in great condition but the issues date back before I moved in. On countless occasions, mainly from 2021-2024 I have been trying to get these fixed with no joy. I've made so many complaints and have complained to the Property Ombudsman. I am heavily pregnant with my first baby due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison have been aware of this since at least the start of the year, I was trying to get them to fix the issues before June when baby is due as stated in emails to them. My husband contacted Slater Hogg to get an update on the repairs on 29th April, they said the landlord 'was trying to get to the root of the problem with the damp and black mould'. I started Maternity leave on 30th April and that same day Sheriffs Officers came to my door to issue an evicition notice under the grounds the landlord 'intends' to sell in July!! No warning inadvance at all and such a brutal way to treat us, we've always paid rent on time, kept house amazing. We can see an email attached to the evicition notice dated 11th April from Shona McCulloch of the Slater Hogg & Howison Dennistoun branch to say she 'would be delighted' to help sell the property when the landlord is ready. My baby is due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison are delighted to make a newborn baby homeless. This is a revenge evicition because I've been asking to get all the repairs done and i have all the years of proof. It's so unbelievably stressful to be going through this. I do not recommend Slater Hogg & Howison because they are extremely cruel.

1st Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)Simply put it's like dealing with a child, they're happy to spam you with junk emails and personal emails several times a day, but rarely respond to actual contacts about the sale of a property or ever answer a question. I'd suggest using someone else entirely unless you want to spend a month getting a question answered and have your inbox filled with utter junk on a daily basis. Avoid! (Happy to provide email proof for this too, every correspondence saved, including the many for each basic question to be ignored and never answered)- 7th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)From start to finish, SH&H made the very daunting process of selling AND buying both simple and stress free. Cumbernauld staff brilliant and all costings for their input both clear and reasonable. Everything you need in a one stop branch. I am so glad I chose them and would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

25th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)Viewed a property last week decided on Monday 21st October to put a offer in got the usual need to speak to the vendor who needs to speak to the family and so on and so on I said just forget it I'm retracting the offer then on Thursday 24th got a call to say am I still interested I said maybe but I'm only giving you the same offer as Monday and I'm not instructing a solicitor you accept my offer and we will go legal tomorrow so verbal agreed then today Friday formal offer sent but with the side letter that if successful my wife would like to view again as we were rushed when we first viewed (it was like a open house) was told vendor said no and there accepting another offer obviously we were used to push someone else to offer this I may add is not the first time Corum Ayr rd Newton mearns has done this to us that was why I was a bit hesitant to waste my time and money to offer so BE careful when you are putting an offer in with them I called to speak to someone but they didn't answer so I've left a message to remove me from their mailing list and Don't phone me again REMEMBER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Having encounterrd several challenges as a landlord in the past couple of years I have found them to be efficient and fair to both tenant and landlord. A big 'thank'you'
25th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)They’re horrible after end of tenancy. They ask hell lot of charges for cleaning. It looks like harassment in the name of cleaning. Their cleaners quote different amount before end of tenancy but after your tenancy will end this gets inflated to exorbitant amount. Please avoid them . You’ll get email from Louis after end of tenancy and would never come back with clear communications.- 18th Jul 2024 (20 weeks ago)Great communication. Received offers in line with valuation. The floor plan they made was nonsense, the marketing text had clearly been thrown together and was riddled with mistakes (you would think an estate agent would know what is and isn’t a bay window?). I spent far too much time chasing them up to correct mistakes a school kid should have spotted. It’s clear they just want to collect their (fixed) fee for as little work as possible.

We were constantly kept in the loop and never felt like we were asking silly questions. Everyone we have dealt with at Walker Wylie have done their utmost to help us with our move and we would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell. Absolute five star service from start to well after the sale had completed.

They provided a service next to none and went beyond and above with viewings making sure my property flew of the market. Louisa was incredibly thorough, reliable, knowledgeable and helped us through the signing of a business property lease. She was always prompt regarding communication and updating/ teaching us through every stage. I would highly recommend.

5th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
