3rd Feb 2021 (5 years ago)When looking to secure a tenancy we were not kept up to date or informed if our offers had been accepted or unsuccessful, after emails and calls not returned we went elsewhere and secured a property with all checks completed in 48 hours. Do not recommend
9th Aug 2023 (3 years ago)Dean and Nicola handled our sale. The purchaser made the process drawn out and quite stressful but Dean and team were superb. In particular they were very responsive to all messages and communicated constantly - so even when the delays were stressful we had the very welcome contact and reassurance we needed. I have to say we were very a little embarrassed by the commission rate for the amount of work they did. Great value for money. Professional at all times and lovely to deal with. Big thank you. (Ps review site is odd - tapped the far right star in most cases and assume this registered 5*. It would be better if the stars turned gold so you knew for sure what you were scoring).
13th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)Booked me in for a 12 midday house ealuation, sent multiple confirmations and reminders and then did not show. Tried to call the office multiple times, but no one answered. Received a call back 4 hours later with a half hearted apology 'as the man doing the valuation was in London today'... Very frustrating as had booked off of work, would not use again.

3rd Jul 2025 (1 year ago)I realise it’s a difficult market but they spend a lot of time telling you how good they are and not being proactive. They are the local agents so they tend to be busy. It seems they have too much work to make a job of marketing any single property.

I can't say I was the easiest of clients following a bad experience we had as a buyer by another local estate agent, so you could say I needed abit more reassurance. Sarah made the process a smooth one and not at any point was I paranoid this might fall through. We received a sales memo 20th October and exchanged today. Great experience and cannot fault them! Amanda and Juliette were friendly, professional and responsive through out our difficult chain, keeping us informed and calm throughout the whole process. We wouldn’t hesitate use them again

However, communication between exchange and completion was very stressful and difficult as I appeared to do all the chasing to finalise the property sale.

I received regular updates on the progress of the sale, and my specific requests were responded to professionally and promptly. I would recommend Bournes to anyone looking for an estate agent that offers that little bit extra.

30th Oct 2026 (3 days ago)This year I bought a house through Brambles, and although the purchase took longer then I had hoped, Kate and Kathryn were both amazing at chasing it all up for me. They kept me updated as soon as they heard from the sellers of the house, and Kate was very accommodating when I wanted to access the property with a builder to get a quote for some work I wanted done. I could not fault them one bit and will very grateful for them helping me secure my lovely home. I would recommend them to anyone, and if I were to ever move, would not hesitate in asking them to market my house.

Realistic in valuations exceptionally helpful , nothing was too much trouble.We sold and bought through Pearsons of Bishops Waltham. The whole team from Debbie, Nicki and Angelina cannot have been more friendly, helpful and outstanding in their professionism.<br>Dog friendly was a bonus! We cannot recommend them highly enough.<br>Help yourself and pop into the office , you will be delighted as well as served well by super people and not dissapointed.
