Their combination of residential sales, valuations and property auctions gives them a depth of expertise beyond a typical estate agency. I particularly appreciate the balance between traditional professional standards and modern property marketing. Their strong knowledge of Southsea and Portsmouth, together with the personal approach of an independent firm, makes Nesbits a very reassuring choice for property matters.

8th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Honestly, I couldn’t fault them. We spent (wasted) 6 months with a different agent and changed to Fenwicks. Immediately, they were showing clients around, providing feedback and secured a sale within a short time. They kept us informed throughout the whole process and chased when things slowed down a bit. Excellent.

From day one, he has been consistently patient, clear, and incredibly easy to communicate with. His manner strikes the perfect balance — always present and supportive, but never once pushy or overbearing.<br><br>Across the last six months, Isaac went above and beyond in helping me understand my options. He produced numerous mortgage quotes for different terms, deposit amounts, and scenarios, each time taking the time to walk me through the implications so I could make informed decisions. What impressed me most was that his support wasn’t limited to mortgages alone; he offered thoughtful, practical advice on a wide range of home?buying topics, double?checked that the properties I was interested in (not with Fox & Sons) were priced fairly, and gave guidance on what and when to offer. James and the team were really passionate about selling our property and very knowledgeable about the area the market and our potential buyer types. They helped us to get the market quickly and efficiently. All the team were helpful and James especially was very helpful and honest and supportive. Helen was knowledgeable, helpful and professional in arranging the valuation, photos and listing. Nick battled to ensure that I got the best possible price whilst keeping a realistic approach and guiding me through the process. Lucy was tirelessly upbeat in her guidance and understanding as liaison between myself and the sellers to ensure the sale went through as smoothly as possible.<br><br>It's not only worth using Manns and Manns for the team involved, but also for their network of recommendations for contractors to deal with the myriad of issues, needs and requirements for selling a home. I cannot recommend them highly enough

Michael, Richard and Sue were all so supportive throughout our sale, which had some tricky moments, but they kept us updated throughout and genuinely care about their clients. They provide a very family-approach to buying/selling your house which feels very unique.
20th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)Overall we were disappointed by the lack of any regular communication. We did receive feedback after viewings, but otherwise we had to take the initiative and request updates. We are now putting the property on the market with a different agent.
19th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)Poor at communicating - I had to ask for data from right move. Poor at showing people around- I have cameras and heard a few remarks from the agent that were inaccurate and likely to put people off. Poor during initial conversation- making promises that were immediately broken about a house we loved that they were marketing. Also failed to carry out basic information gathering that we have later discovered is a legal requirement.
