23rd Jan 2022 (2 years ago)In an industry which is among the five least trusted professions, Hamptons Canary Wharf, but specifically Jack, are raising the bar. I am completing my first home purchase and Jack took an honest selling approach from the beggining, understanding the type of property that I was after. While real estate promotions are usually generic, he highlighted this property to me knowing it checked a number of points while was also transparent on not selling too hard on properties which were outside budget/criteria, which resulted in greater trust. Further, I worked with Capital Private Finance where Avneet provided me with a number of options, while Paul and Kevin at Adams Kaye would periodically check in, pushed the seller's solicitors, and kept a good cadence of communication. Happy with the combined efforts, will look to re-use and recommend.

From the very start, the team there were helpful, supportive and thorough, guiding us through the entire process. Due to our solicitors, the selling process was not without its stresses but Josh at William H Brown helped in every way he could and provided our buyer with all the reassurance he could, meaning we were able to exchange and complete on time. His communication and expertise were second to none. We would definitely use Josh and the team again snd would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Thank you !- 24th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)My partner and I purchased our first home with Sharman Quinney and we couldn't have asked for a better service. The whole process was so much quicker and easier than we expected, and we felt the team really cared about us. Baylee Bishop showed us the house, and was incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start and all the way through. She helped us get answers to all our questions promptly and was very efficient. She also seemed super excited for us, which really made the process enjoyable (not what you often hear from scary house buying stories!). Baylee frequently kept in touch with updates, even just checking in sometimes, which made us feel really reassured and that we had someone available at all times. We also used Jonathan Threadgold as our mortgage consultant. From our first meeting, he was informative, friendly and helpful. We asked many many questions, and he never made us feel like they were stupid ones (when some most likely were!). I had had other meetings with other mortgage advisors and after our meeting with Jonathan, there was no question we wanted to go through him. They referred us to Juno property lawyers, and to keep things simple and easy we used them - again, we couldn't have been happier with the service we received. Everyone in the Cambourne office was lovely, even if we weren't working directly with them. We would 100% recommend Sharmon Quinney Cambourne for buying a property, and if/when we come to sell in the future they will be our first point of call!

They told us less than 24 hours before we were due to move in that the house wasn't ready, making us homeless. 3 days before that, they guaranteed the house would be ready and that we could move in. Mostly the idiot landlord's fault, but they could have checked rather than making promises they couldn't possible keep. Not sure how this is allowed with no consequences in this day and age Very disappointing. No stars, but Google insist on putting something.
20th Apr 2024 (14 weeks ago)It was my first time in 20 years dealing with an estate agent. Back then I remember it just being a toil. Not this time. Ryan, Paul, Claudio and Peter (still not met you) were just brilliant. Ryan suggested a solicitor, take his advice, because the one he suggested was amazing. He got me over the line in record time. I can't fault this company and the team they have are brilliant. I doubt I'll have to deal with them again because they helped to facilitate purchasing my dream. Thank you all at WHB. I cant fault you. 100% 5 stars!
1st Jan 2024 (6 mo. ago)4 viewings in 6 months says it all. And that was AFTER they told us to reduce the price. No communication on a regular basis and totally inflexible. We were keen to sell, offered to do an open house, they said it wouldn’t work. We asked if we could go multiagency because we weren’t satisfied and were given a clear NO.

30th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)Initially they talked the talk and were very helpful but once the property was sold they started pushing for us to move out early (which we refused to do) presumably so they could get their commission. The communication in the period between sale and completion was minimal from their side until Ozzie became the "contact" person and we cannot praise him enough.
6th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)I have recently purchased a house through Joseph at villager homes. He has been absolutely incredible throughout. Always honest, fair and reasonable for both sides, prompt to respond and eager to push the transaction through without applying pressure. I couldn’t recommend Joseph highly enough and will 100% be using him when I come to sell my home .

Whilst I understand completely that the agents, in essence, work on behalf of the seller, it never felt that way with Hannah and the team! The approach felt extremely equitable for all parties. Highly recommend Carr Estates.

We received constant updates from them and nothing was ever too much trouble - often going above and beyond to ensure the transaction went through. They made the experience of moving easy and kept on top of the chain throughout so we always knew what was going on. Fully deserving of the 5* review.

24th Aug 2023 (11 mo. ago)Had several agent round to value our property, decided to market it with Ellis Winter for several reasons, the initial contact Matt was polite, respectful and very reassuring. Matt and Ollie made every effort to make our property look at its very best when doing the photos. All our queries were answered promptly. Communication was via telephone and backed up with emails. Anne kept us updated regularly. All viewings were carried out by Ellis Winter staff. We were very anxious about selling our family home of more than 25 years but Ellis Winter staff made it a stress free experience, we would highly recommend them.
