17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Celia was fantastic, she was always available when I needed a question answered, she stayed in regular contact with me from the very first viewing right through to completion. Celia went above and beyond her duties, she helped speed up the process by speaking to solicitors and chasing things up for the vendor and I. I highly recommend Equus Property and when the time comes to move on i would not hesitate in contacting them to market my property. Thank you Celia for all of your help.

To a new landlord to be she was knowledgeable, informative and also very understanding at finding ‘the right’ person. We worked closely for 4.5 years until today I sold it to a new landlord. I would recommend Steph and her team 100%

From the moment we showed an interest in the house we since bought, nothing was too much trouble . We were give access to the property several times, given very accurate information and liaison between the seller and ourselves was carried out very professionally.

When I first got in touch with them, I tasked them with finding us a property to view and decide on in pretty much a week. They were quick to understand our requirement and get to work to find us a property. The result was that about a week later we offered on the property. It was not easy getting from offer to exchange and completion for external reasons, but Mark Revill, especially Theresa, were super helpful and were always there at every step of the way with us, making things just a little easier to deal with everytime. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, tailored and very caring service when buying a property. We were really impressed with them. Thank you!!

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

6th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Keen enthusiastic and friendly staff badly let down by corporate rules and an inflexible IT/software setup which did not enable them to present the property as we wanted. They did get viewings but not many of them were suited to the property age or needs wise. We also didn't like the hard sell 'upgrade' charges they tried to foist on us at the point of signing up, or the never before heard of extortionate 'uplift' commission for a sale over the asking price which was not pointed out to me, and I got them to cancel. Very corporate and money grubbing. - not the fault of the lovely staff.

7th May 2024 (1 day ago)I think that we have the record for Phil’s lengthiest case! That said, none of this was of Foresters making- rather buyers further down the chain. We had the most patient buyer for our lovely late mother’s bungalow and, after nearly 2 1/2 years , we have finally completed. Phil patiently and calmly guided us through the whole process. His efforts to ‘chase down the line’ were above and beyond. He communicated each step clearly, was a great sounding block, showed empathy and understanding of our situation and is to be applauded for his tenacity. As a family we have used Foresters several times over the years and indeed Mike Fordham was instrumental in selling our family home when Mum decided to finally downsize. It is fitting that Foresters take credit for completing the last sale. Phil was our main point of contact, but everyone in the office knew us, were appraised of our situation and always offered advice, passing on messages which were promptly actioned. They say that undertaking a house sale is one of the most stressful things to face in life and I wouldn’t disagree. As an executor I wanted to represent my siblings to the best of my ability. Phil quietly lead us through the process and eventually we achieved our goal. Thank you Foresters, especially Phil, and we wish our buyer every happiness in their new home.

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.
