29th Jul 2026 (4 days ago)Abysmal accompanied viewings service<br><br>For an agency that markets itself as "local and reputable", Richard Kendall's accompanied viewing service is shocking.<br><br>Viewings are outsourced to a tiny, poorly informed team with terrible availability (buyers are normally expected to book over a week in advance for a viewing and can't even get weekday evenings), meaning I had to conduct nearly all viewings myself. On the rare occasions they can attend, they know nothing about the property, which Richard Kendall seem to think is perfectly normal. Saying "we're really busy" is not an explanation - it's an admission they can't deliver the service being paid for by the seller. I might as well have been using an online agency. When someone wants to view, you don't want them being told to wait, you want them to be able to see your property ASAP to maximize sale chances.<br><br>For when you're doing an "open to view" at the weekend? Yeah, you have to do that all yourself too... take people's names/details, show them round, etc. Basically do their job for them. None of their agents will help you then, either. For a "full-service agency", I find this totally unacceptable.

From mortgage advice, tips for marketing the property, any questions or queries relating to sales or purchases.<br>Very responsive, sorted any questions I had quickly, professionally and friendly.<br>Big thanks to Charley, Isla, Mackenzie and Emma who've made the process simple and as pain free as buying and selling can be.
2nd Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)I do feel that they need to have social media platforms to promote properties like most agents do. Also there is no shop to go in or for them to advertise the brochure etc. there way of working g may work for some for houses that will sell quickly but not for me.

Very kind, patient & helpful She has regularly updated me with the progress of my sale & her advice & wisdom is second to none Overall a very positive experience I would & have recommended Richard Kendall, to other people Also sold my previous property in Ossett with Richard Kendall

Always on hand with a listening ear and Max was just the best support as was Andy. I would recommend Hunters Castleford for a rental to anyone as they are great with the personal touches, I always felt listened to and when I needed them they were always there. 15th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Although we haven't quite reached the exchanging contracts stage of our house sale, it's worth commenting on the service we've received up to this point. Enfields have delivered a highly professional experience from start to finish. Granted there was a slight delay in the production of our brochures but other than that small matter, we've been super happy with how we've been looked after by the team. Frank and honest conversations at the start of the process about expectations and the reality of the market, great advice on the approach to take, a fun day of staging and photos (with some fabulous results). Then, from the moment we went 'live', Joanne has been great at liaising with us at every step to update on viewings, feedback, and now the particulars of the sale. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a highly professional and credible agency run by people who truly care.
