They know their market inside out, gave me a good valuation, arranged several viewings and we had an offer close to the asking price in only 3 weeks. Happy to recommend this company! (N.B. We have not yet completed as the Brecon property market has been very busy with longer waits than usual for surveyors and solicitors.)- This agent doesn't have any reviews

Yn aml mae rhywbeth annisgwyl yn codi, ac fe ddigwyddodd mwy nag unwaith yn ystod y broses o werthu, ond fe sicrhaodd ymateb proffesiynol a phrofiad Aled a Seren fod y gwerthiant yn mynd yn ei flaen yn llwyddiannus. Bob amser yn barod i gael sgwrs dros y ffon neu yn y swyddfa.<br><br>Thank you to Aled Ellis and Seren for their invaluable work in selling the house. From the very first discussion to the completion of sale, the personal service was second to none. Advice and support were provided at every stage of the process and the responses to questions were prompt and comprehensive. The process is not always smooth and when the unexpected happen, as it did more than once, their professionalism and experience ensured a successful sale. They were always happy to chat over the phone or when I visited the office.
26th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Emma my Estate Agent came round and looked at the property on a Saturday morning and said that she would do some research and get back to me with a price. Later that afternoon she emailed me with a valuation for.the house. Unlike a previous Estate Agent there were no frills or glossy brochures of other properties thay had for sale and I wasnt overloaded with lots of information. There were a few issues surrounding the construction of the house but that didn't fase the agents. They have been very good at letting me know when I had a viewing and passed on the feedback they were given afterwards. They have been at the other end of the phone if needed or any emails I sent were promptly replied to.

They understand the local market, did a really professional job with the photos and video for the marketing, and regularly updated me on viewings and outcomes. Thanks to their excellent advice, we sold my Dad's property at the end of November 24. The team are friendly, professional and excellent at their job. There is no need to look elsewhere!

He was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and genuinely helpful throughout, and by far the best estate agent we have dealt with over the course of many house moves. A real credit to McCartneys and the profession, and someone we would have no hesitation in recommending.

13th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Unfortunately Halls did not live up to our expectations…over promising and under delivering proved apparent with inaccurate valuation, poor communication and we felt there was only interaction when we initiated it and although that proved helpful initially, it was short lived and the inactivity and lack of interaction continued… So very disappointed and we will now have to start the process again elsewhere…

13th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)One of the best if not the best in town. I was renting a room for a professional. All my bills included in the price. If I ever had a issue and emailed, they always helped to fix the problem in good time and the one time I was caught slightly short on rent due to a stay in hospital they were very understanding and gave me no trouble. Couldn't recommend this agency more.

2nd Sep 2026 (12 days ago)I think for sales this estate agent is fine, but I’ll never rent with them again. Over 1k in deposit, we rented for close to 5 years, and they want to charge £300 for tape on the wall and painting. Charges for scuffs, marks, carpet wear and tear and in total wanted around £800. I came back with a counter offer of £200. Wasn’t good enough. Now it’s being taken further since they want to say we left it unclean even though I have photos. Don’t waste your time. We’re devastated. The amount of love and warmth we poured into those four walls to make it our own safe space, that has been complimented by both estate agents and landlord, for it to be ripped away because he had to paint a few walls.<br><br>EDIT:: We got and email saying the landlord/estate agent never responded in time to the dispute, despite telling us to go ahead with it. We’ll be getting the full deposit back. They knew they were in the wrong and tried to take money from an innocent couple. Avoid at all costs and don’t waste your time.- 16th Jul 2026 (9 weeks ago)Whoever I spoke to were polite and helpful. We had plenty of viewings and were kept up to date with feedbacks from them. The initial valuation was done in a professional manner and photography also progressed professionally. Very satisfied with the experience.
11th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Working professional here. I used MS during my time in Aber. Fantastic agency. The best in Town. They are quick and attentive to every problem. Problems are solved QUICK. I stayed in castle terrace. I Never met the landlord but they were brilliant with helping me with anything I needed via MS. The landlord had handymen on dial to fix any issue. Superb. Highly recommended this agency for anyone, especially professionals that want minimal grievance.
