29th Oct 2025 (9 mo. ago)I have been renting a property managed by Howard Baker Estates for three years. The property was presented really well and maintained periodically by them. Really impressed with their professionalism in handling things right from renting, maintenance, periodic checks etc. Sam and Team does a great job in managing all these aspects. Renters can feel relaxed if they get such expert property managers. I recommend Howard Baker Estates due to the quality of their properties.
4th Feb 2021 (5 years ago)These people are scammers and thieves. Horrible people who will steal your money if you are not careful! Avoid them like the plague. Save yourself the time, money and energy by going with someone else instead!

3rd Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)We chose Ellis & Co Kenton as the agency for our first rented property. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Within three months of moving in, several maintenance issues began to arise. Although one or two minor issues were addressed, many others remained unresolved despite repeated requests. Some repairs were promised within a week of moving in, but even after a full year, they were never completed. When it came time to renew the tenancy, the agency wanted to increase the rent. We agreed to the increase on the condition that the outstanding maintenance issues would finally be resolved. Instead, we were informed that the landlord wanted the property back for renovation and were given notice to leave. While I understand that landlords have the right to regain possession of their property, being asked to leave after only one year was extremely stressful for my wife and me. We had settled into the property and invested in furniture, expecting to stay much longer. Having to search for a new home during Ramadan while fasting was particularly difficult. As both of us work full-time during the week, we only had weekends available to view properties. The sudden need to find a new home, move out, and settle elsewhere caused significant stress and emotional distress. My wife's health was affected by the situation and she continues to experience issues related to the stress it caused. We repeatedly asked the agency to discuss our concerns with the landlord, but we felt that they consistently sided with the landlord and provided very little support to us as tenants. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we did not feel valued or supported as tenants.
13th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)I was a tenant, and Harry from this agency was incredibly helpful. It was the best introduction, and he was incredibly responsive and helpful. He's a professional in his field and a very kind and helpful person. Throughout the entire rental period, he supported and helped with all matters related to our rental property. I'm very happy with his work, I recommend him to everyone, and I want to express my deepest gratitude to him!

14th May 2024 (2 years ago)Have been renting with Andrew and Gerard for 3 + years in Hendon and I’m surprised to see this reviews. It’s nothing like this. They are very respectful and trustworthy answer quickly on ??watsap - always send someone to fix things we need. I have recommended his agency to my brother who rents with him for the last 2 years and also my husband’s partner. We have Nothing to complain.
25th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Flat wasn't clean on move - in date. Hairs in the sink, used cotton buds on the floor, and someone's filthy bed sheets still on a bed. Total disregard for tenants as we were told this is rentable condition. Bedroom 2: broken bed slats with another filthy mattress on top is in rentable condition according to the management at everstar properties. We were told the flat would be fully painted and someone just came around with a paint brush to touch up some marks. A totally unacceptable rental experience. We now have to wait a week for beds promised to be delivered on the move - in date of 03/12. No offer of compensation given for the inconvenience and broken promises. Not even an apology. We were treated as if we were stupid. No one should have to live in filth

I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average

Any issues were handled swiftly and efficiently, communication was always clear, and there was a real sense of trust throughout. If we ever move back to London, we’ll definitely be in touch. xx
9th Aug 2026 (15 days ago)We had a really positive experience with Tatsuya, who was incredibly kind, caring and attentive throughout the process of renting our new flat.<br><br>When we first viewed the property, it unfortunately wasn’t in the best condition, as the previous tenants had not left it particularly well. Tatsuya was very reassuring from the beginning and took the time to follow up with us, making sure we knew that improvements would be made before our move-in.<br><br>The property was certainly in a much better condition when we moved in. The carpets had been professionally cleaned and a number of things had been redone at the property. While the cleanliness wasn’t absolutely perfect and we still had to spend quite a bit of time removing some of the grease and oil left behind by the previous tenants, we really appreciated the effort that had been made.<br><br>I appreciate that some of these things may be considered the bare minimum when moving into a rental property. However, having lived in London for the past 13 years and having rented several properties, I can honestly say that I have never experienced an estate agent who followed up so closely and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we were happy and comfortable in our new home.<br><br>Tatsuya’s communication, reassurance and willingness to help really stood out to us, and we are very grateful for the care he showed throughout the process. It made what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier.<br><br>Thank you, Tatsuya, for going the extra mile!
