6th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)I have just completed on my new property bought through Barton Fleming in Bicester. From the start I was shown the property by Terry, and from there on in dealt mainly with Colin. I couldn't fault them. Any queries I had of which there were a few were sorted and dealt with. I feel I built up a good relationship with them and they went above and beyond to sort out any issues I had. I feel it was nice to work with a local independent company and to support local trade. 5 stars from me all round. Thank you Colin,Terry and your team. Many thanks

20th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)I recently viewed a property I was very interested in and made it clear I wanted to put in an offer and in a chain-free position. Despite this, the agent sold to a buyer involved in a chain. When I asked whether it would have been better for their vendor to receive multiple offers, I was told “of course we will take two sales over one.” When that sale later fell through and the property came back to market, I was contacted to view again. Unfortunately, the exact same situation occurred again. I was apprehensive to move forward given the previous time and again, whilst in discussion with the agent, not given a fair opportunity to put in an offer, while the agent managed to reconnect the chain. I understand that the market is difficult, but prioritising an internal double-deal over the vendor’s best interests feels deeply underhand. If I were the seller, I would be furious to learn this was happening. On a separate note, I was taken aback by the line of questioning I received during the viewing. Being quizzed about my age and affordability, along with comments like I “only look about 15”, came across as unprofessional and demeaning. It left me feeling uncomfortable and put me off wanting to view further properties with this agent.
5th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)From day 1 we had a large number or viewings all communicated promptly with dates and times. Feedback from viewers was always communicated well. Harry strived to achieve the best purchase price possible for us. Special mention to Matthew as well who photographed our house and helped us with the process. All at Parkers, Reading have provided an amazing service to make our sale as painless as possible.

28th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)The whole of my 'Interview' came across as getting a low cost valuation and sales pitch just to get customers to view. It ended up me taking the property (despite having an interested buyer) completely off the market. It left me and my property feeling totally unworthy. Very unhappy with Haarts tactics.

10th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)After trying to sell my property with two other local agents I turned to Bonners & Babingtons without much hope, I couldn't have been more wrong! From day 1 they were head and shoulders above the other agents I had tried, both long established in the town. From communication to marketing my property and finally selling and getting the sale through to completion. Highly Recommended!!!
29th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)they lied and charged us for all the marketing material then never used it. we got ZERO enquirers or viewings for over 4 months- then found the online information was WRONG. stating the home is a decade older (i bought it NEW) and worth over £1 million LESS. they refuted to change it, then after we terminated the contract they refuse to rerun the photos we paid for. we spent thousands of pounds and hundreds of hours prepping the house for photos, and paid over £2,000 in total for them.

She really is a lovely person and very kind while also being 100% professional and totally proactive which is vital to see everything through to completion. Throughout the entire process Kate was the only agent who regularly kept in touch with the whole chain, holding all the different threads together when everything seemed to be at a standstill. Then my friend had the good fortune to find a house that was about to be marketed by Kate. My friend had the bright idea to contact Kate to let her know the sort of house they were looking for, and by an incredible stroke of luck she had exactly the right house just about to come on to the market. From then on everything went smoothly for my friend, with Kate actively keeping in touch and lifting spirits during what could have been an incredibly stressful time. Thank you Kate, of all the estate agents I've ever met, you really are the best.

We dealt with other estate agents in our buying process who left a lot to be desired to say the least and showed the vast gulf in class between local everyday operators and Eliza.
