Sarah visited us pre sale & explained the proposed timeline of events & all the associated costs from Home report, selling, marketing & conveyance. We were advised how to present the property for marketing purposes & all appointments were as per the arrangements made. Our house sold very quickly in no small part down to the excellent promotional material produced by Sarah with the help of her large presence on Social media. In summary we were delighted with the service we received from Sarah at Property Connections & would recommend her services to others in a heartbeat.

Their support, professionalism, and responsiveness were greatly appreciated and made the process much easier.<br><br>At the same time, I would like to suggest further improvements to the maintenance operations. 3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

They were restoring the upper part so this wasn't accessible when I visited, but interesting history and also some lovely wildlife, swifts, osprey, deer. You ring a bell and the boat comes to take you across to the castle. All the staff were friendly and funny, joking with everyone. Glad I visited and would go again.

Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.

8th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)I recently had a disappointing experience with this estate agency.<br><br>I placed an offer on a property through my solicitor, but I received no acknowledgement from the estate agency that my offer had been received.<br><br>Following my review on Facebook, the estate agent contacted me to explain what had happened and acknowledged that there had been some failings. I appreciated them taking the time to discuss the matter and agreed that my original review had been somewhat harsh. I said I would amend the review accordingly.<br><br>Unfortunately, I have since been blocked from the Facebook page, meaning I am unable to edit the original review.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would still have some reservations about using this estate agent, particularly regarding communication. However, I do appreciate that they took the time to contact me and address my concerns.<br><br>Update - Also disappointed with slightly condescending ChatGPT reply to this review.

From the point of our initial contact to getting the keys to our lovely house, we couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of service he provided.
