4th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Emma from the Chelmsford office has been fantastic from the first meeting we had when we viewed a new build home. She clearly knew the market and the area to give us the best guidance to put in a successful offer on our new home. The building site was very restricted for additional viewings, but Emma was very cooperative for us to gain access, and for trades to arrange dates with her to measure up. Invaluable for us to have a successful and easy move. Thank you Emma, you really did make the difference to our purchase.
1st Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)We would recommend Percival's to anyone needing property management or to sell a property. Georgina and team manage 2 properties for us and we recently decided to sell one of them following the end of one of the tenancies. Georgina was extremely helpful in guiding us on how best to prepare for the sale and then actively managed all aspects of the process leading to a successful sale at the price we sought to first time buyers. While the property was empty and prior to the sale the hot water tank burst which was only apparent when the water company alerted us to unusual water consumption. Not living locally Georgina offered to drop by and investigate on our behalf to find that not only had the tank burst but the water was in danger of causing a fire with the electrics. The team drained the system and made safe before arranging for repairs to the plumbing and the electrics to be safety checked. We are hugely appreciative of all the service we receive from the Percival's team who constantly go above and beyond and would recommend them to anyone seeking a property agent in the area.

27th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)To say Olivia changed our lives would genuinely be an understatement.<br><br>What should have been a relatively straightforward move turned into a much longer and far more stressful process than we ever anticipated, but Olivia was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond at every possible opportunity to keep things moving, get problems resolved as quickly as possible and, just as importantly, keep us calm and reassured throughout it all.<br><br>Evenings, weekends, even while she was on holiday — Olivia always seemed to be there when we needed her. The level of care, communication and commitment she showed us was honestly exceptional.<br><br>The entire team at Beresfords Maldon were fantastic, helping us with both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home. We’ve now moved into what we genuinely hope will be our forever home, while also achieving a fantastic price on our sale.<br><br>Five stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough.<br><br>Thank you so much to Olivia and everyone at Beresfords Maldon for everything you did for us. Bryony Collett has kept me updated through the whole process, and her communication has made me feel at ease whilst purchasing my first home. Compared to another Estate Agents I have also been dealing with, I would never go anywhere else now. They really buck the trend of the stereotypical estate agent - we felt well informed and that they were transparent throughout the process. Most importantly, we never felt under pressure to buy unlike our uncomfortable experience with some other national agents. We would highly recommend if you're looking for an agent in the area - they're an absolute pleasure to deal with.

From start to finish, the entire process was managed with professionalism and care. Matt did an outstanding job with the photography; his eye for detail is exceptional. He clearly takes great pride in his work and goes the extra mile to ensure the property is presented in the best possible light. Tracy managed our sale and after-sales process, and she was truly exceptional. She was always on top of everything, consistently keeping all parties informed and ensuring communication was prompt and clear. Her efficiency made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and well-organised. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
15th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We chose Oakheart as we liked our negotiator Freddie .<br>Unfortunately he moved branches .<br>Un experienced agents doing the viewings .<br>Boards going up , boards going down !<br>Saw out our contract. Ask for property to be removed from Rightmove , this took 4 days with a reminder .<br>Two weeks later and being off market the board is still up .<br>Lots of apologies from the office ! For several reasons .<br>Best thing about Oakheart is their branding !
