8th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)We met with 4 agents and selected James Anderson for their clear and straight forward approach, local market knowledge and willingness to listen to our particular requirements. They offered advice but gave us space to make our own decisions. They were proactive in marketing and scheduling viewings and we have accepted an offer of the asking price.
13th Aug 2024 (2 years ago)The agents working on my property were reliable and easy to contact. They gave me weekly updates and did everything they could to advertise the property. They ran the viewings without my input and made it very easy.
18th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)I do not recommend it. We lived in the Newlands Park property that they manage in London for 5 years. The owner invests 0 in the property. During the winter, the toilet gets a lot of mould due to the humidity. We always asked them to fix it, and they never did; we fixed it ourselves, as both my husband and I have respiratory issues. They were always very, very slow to respond to issues we had with the property; we had to chase them all the time. In fact, during our last month in the property, a water pipe that always been damaged broke again because the person the send to fix it only puts tape, and doesn't fix it properly By the 3rd year, they wanted to increase the rent, and you’d think, yes, that’s fair, but again, the landlord never wanted to reinvest in the property, even though it clearly needed a decent investment. We were very reluctant to allow them to increase the rent, as the property NEEDS a lot of repairs. No double glazing, so the property is not energy efficient. The cellar has mould, so anything you put in there gets ruined by it. The wood in the kitchen window and the bath is rotten, never got fixed During our last year (2025), in May, THEY LIED and told us the owner wanted to sell the property; we were thinking of leaving the country anyway, so we were okay with it. They told us we had to leave by August. However, the timing was not right, as we had some travel planned. We managed to get an extension until November, sorted out our move and work situation, and moved to Spain at the end of November. And to add, they took 1.5 months to return our deposit. My husband had to chase them a couple of times, and the last time he told them that if the deposit wasn't returned by the 9th of Jan, he would escalate it. they didn’t even return all of it. , and guess what? The property is now available TO RENT £150 more expensive, and with all of the issues we flag and they and the landlord haven’t fixed them at all. AVOID!
22nd Oct 2025 (1 year ago)Horrible experience with trying to get my deposit back (still trying to get it back to this day!). I put down the 5 week deposit for a flat that was advertised by Cavendish Cheam but had to back out due to personal circumstances. I understand that I cannot get back the 1 week holding deposit but for the rest of my money, it has not been returned yet. Daren has been claiming that I will be deposited the amount on certain days but has never followed through. It feels like I am being played at this point. Proceed with caution when dealing with this agency!
1st Sep 2026 (9 weeks ago)We lived at a property managed by 1st Choice Estates for 2 years. From the start they were helpful and managed to find a good place at a relatively affordable price. Ade and Dominic in particular were responsive and respectful throughout our whole tenancy, and helped us with external reference requests with a very fast turnaround. Would recommend for those in the Brixton/Stockwell area.

I just had a phone call with one of their agents about some overgrown trees in a neighbours house, and they shouted at me down the phone, talked over me and then HUNG UP on me. The most unprofessional group of people I’ve ever met. Do NOT use this company!!!!

After five long years of struggling to sell my flat, I had almost given up hope. It was a very complicated sale with many challenges, yet Kyle stepped in and did what no one else could. Within just a couple of weeks of taking professional photos and launching the property, he secured a strong offer and moved the process forward with impressive efficiency. Kyle is outstanding at what he does — not only professional and highly skilled, but also genuine, reliable, and honest. His communication was exceptional from day one. 30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)I'm not sure where to start this review. It has been a fantastic experience from start to finish, from the initial valuation to producing the marketing materials. Ewan and Debbie are a great, easy-to-work-with team. Selling a house is never easy with all the moving parts and the chain, but the team did a great job keeping everyone together, communicating clearly about our progress, and bringing the process to a successful close.<br>I really wanted to work with a local family owned agent that is focused on the property market in surrounding area I hoped that it would bring insight and attention to detail. I was not disappointed at all.<br>This isn’t my first property sale, and it was by far the best experience I’ve had.<br>I can highly recommend working with Bunting and Bunting.
