His service and attention to detail were second to none and his friendly approach made me feel comfortable. Through his hard work we have managed to secure a property on the first weekend of viewings. Here’s hoping the transaction goes through but I am confident that if it doesn’t he will quickly be back on the case. I would have no hesitation in using his services to sell my property when the time comes.

24th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I was working 3rd party with a lady that has purchased a property from Gower Dawes estate agent in chadwell-st-Mary. I cannot praise Jo enough, she went above and beyond, and I mean above and beyond. I would not go anywhere else to sell or purchase a property. We had a few problems along the way, but Jo was onto them non stop, along with the solicitors. I would like to thank you for being so persistent, yet reassuring all the way and helping me guide my sister-in-law through the whole process. The best people to deal with, whilst getting the reassurance you need at a time of stress and worry.

1st May 2026 (15 days ago)I come home to find my garden gate broken. They came onto my property without permission. Worked on the neighbours house upstairs setup scaffolding and took it down. The agent should have contacted me if they need access. Really frustrated as i come back home from work to find my property damaged. You cannot come onto my land or property without permission. Their phone lines closed so i now have to go through the night with entry points for thieves to access my property property

David was professional, responsive and consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire journey. Whether it was answering queries quickly, keeping communication clear between all parties, or helping navigate the inevitable challenges that come with any property purchase- he handled everything with patience and professionalism. As first time buyers, having an agent who was honest, reliable and genuinely invested in getting the deal over the line made an enormous difference. David never made us feel like just another transaction- he treated our purchase with the care and attention it deserved. We would not hesitate to recommend Patterson Hawthorn to anyone buying or selling in the Rainham area, and David Howe specifically is an absolute asset to the team. 13th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)I got the viewing with this company with representative Hannah. Property in South Ockendon. During the viewing I confirmed that I will rent this property, it is fully satisfied us. On Monday at 15:00 LT Hannah called me and accept offer. I spoke to her that I need confirmation by e-mail and inform previous landlord the date of termination of contract and ask when is better for their landlord to move in. Simply remain small details which intake 30-40 minutes to negotiate. I terminate the contract with previous landlord because this letting agent confirmed me this property. Call Hannah after 30 minutes, about 15:30 , nobody replied in their office. Then he sent me the message that landlord choose another tenant. Absolutely not reliable and acting dishonestly, not fair, irresponsible including this landlord. Probably tenant need to additional information and at least get confirmation officially by e-mail? I don't recommend this company for further business. We are from Ukraine and we don't have such lawlessness like here. Absolutely negative and not reliable company. Waste my time and money for fuel.

They went above and beyond—not only assisting with the sale itself, but also helping to secure short-term tenants and guiding me through a deed of variation. A special thank you must go to Millie, who worked tirelessly to see the sale through to completion. Her knowledge, professionalism, and clear, consistent communication were outstanding from start to finish. Communication was clear and timely throughout the entire process, and they were always available to answer questions or offer advice. What really stood out was their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly. They made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well-managed. And let me tell you our journey wasn’t the most straight forward. 8th May 2026 (8 days ago)After a really frustrating experience trying to sell our home through two other agents, finding Carter Remy Estates completely changed everything for us. Both previous agents had “sold” our property, but on both occasions the sales eventually fell through because the buyers were unable to obtain mortgages. Each time, we had already started spending money towards purchasing another property ourselves, only for everything to collapse due to the buyers not being properly vetted in the first place. It was stressful, costly, and incredibly disappointing. A friend recommended Carter Remy to us and at that point we genuinely felt like we had nothing to lose. From the very beginning, we were impressed with their marketing strategy, professionalism, and honest approach. Within just two weeks they found us another buyer, but this time the difference was obvious immediately. Carter Remy required the buyer to sign a reservation agreement and make an upfront payment, which gave us real confidence that the buyer was genuine, financially committed, and serious about proceeding. It made the whole process feel far more secure and gave us the reassurance we needed to confidently move forward with our onward purchase without fearing another collapse. The result was a completely different experience our sale completed within just 12 weeks with no complications at all after the agreement was signed. A huge thank you to the whole team, especially Allison and Craig, for all of their hard work, communication, and support throughout the process.
