15th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)Here is a brief outline of the goings one which happened while the property was still under my ownership. 1 The keys to the property were given out on an adhoc basis to various trades employed by the potential new owners. 2 Potential new owners demolished part of the property 3 Potential new owners started decorating the property 4 Potential new owners gained access to the property without my approval on various occasions All in all a pretty pi## poor performance all round, when I emailed my complaint, never heard a word back , I strongly suspect the email never made it to the bosses in box or he/she didn't give a toss

The team handled all the viewings for us and contacted us regularly with updates and we were so pleased to receive several offers within a couple of weeks.<br><br>Special thanks to Nic, Olivia and Neil who managed the sale through to completion.<br><br>I would highly recommend Beresfords in Maldon for their professional and expert service.

Right from the start, they were very knowledgeable about the market, always professional, understanding and approachable. Having never sold a property they helped us from the smallest of inquiries to keeping us informed of everything that was happening during the exchange/completion process.<br><br>They expertly marketed the property with quality photography. They were always prompt to reply to any calls/emails and nothing was too much trouble.<br><br>Would definitely recommend this team.<br><br>- Dawn Martin
15th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)I recently purchased a flat via Smooth Move and I have to say the service they provided was excellent, Lisa was amazing, she kept me up to date with all issues and progress, and was a massive help and support to me though the whole process. When she was off for a couple of days her workload was covered and I wasn't left to wait for a response, which was great. I recommend Smooth Moves if you are looking to sell/rent/buy a property ??????

Phoebe was attentive and demonstrated exemplary communication and client care throughout the process. As first time buyers, we knew the process wouldn’t be easy, but Phoebe ensured she did everything in her power to ease the transition for us - navigating the complex landscape of our chain & purchasing negotiations with the utmost professionalism and skill. We had a few agents come out to value our property, but we decided to go with Colubrid because, from our first meeting, Joshua seemed extremely confident that he could sell our home quickly. As the Chelmer Village estate agent, he explained that properties like ours are his bread and butter. Our property went on the market on Thursday and was sold by Monday. I cannot thank Joshua and the team enough for their hard work and professionalism throughout. I believe Millie conducted the viewings, and I was told she was local to the area. That certainly showed, as her knowledge of Chelmer Village helped generate multiple offers on our property. If you're thinking of choosing Colubrid, don't hesitate. I would highly recommend them.

29th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)This is the only Estate Agents that i can genuinely say care about their clients as well as the landlords! Our current landlord used Oakheart when we moved into his property and the guys were so helpful, (i did a review then as I was so impressed!). We are now moving back to Surrey and our landlord has used Oakheart once again. I have been liaising with Minty regarding viewings via email; she has been so friendly, kind and considerate especially with viewings around the busy Xmas period. She hasn't been demanding and has worked around our shift work schedule (Train Driver), when it comes to booking people to view the property. It is so refreshing for existing tenants to be treated with kindness as well as possible new tenants and the landlords. Thank you Minty and Oakheart! Happy New Year x
