I would say that as property agents they go the extra mile and keep their clients best interests at heart.

5th Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)I bought my house in Wivenhoe through Elms Price and had such a good experience with them.
Jamie was a breath of fresh air after dealing with estate agents in London. He was really proactive and always kept me updated, but was never pushy. When it came to exchange and completion, which was definitely the most stressful part, he was there the whole way and I always felt like I could pick up the phone and ask what was going on.
Jamie was away on the actual day of completion so Cheryl took over, and she was fantastic too. We discovered there was a gas leak at the property, not exactly the start I was hoping for in my new home! Cheryl was so helpful. She contacted the seller’s solicitor and arranged for a gas engineer they use to come out and sort it for me.
I really felt supported by them throughout the whole process, including after I’d actually completed, which says a lot. I’d absolutely recommend Elms Price if you’re buying or selling in Wivenhoe.

Robert has been friendly, professional, patient and very helpful from the beginning. He has always been happy to answer our questions, communicate with the landlord on our behalf and make sure we feel comfortable throughout the process. We really appreciate all his time, kindness and support. We're so excited to move into our new home in December!

Our experience with them was amazing from start to finish as the buyers of the property.
When booking our viewing, it was seamless with prompt responses to messages. As we were moving from London to Harwich, they accommodated viewings around our work schedules and times that were good for us due to how far we were coming from.
Throughout our whole purchase, I had regular phone call updates and was supported with reassurance and any questions answering when I felt unsure due to being first-time buyers.
I didn't think that the sellers estate agent would be so helpful to me as the purchaser, but they were amazing.
Once our completion took place, it was made easy for us to collect the keys, and also, we were given a congratulations card, which was so sweet of them all. Everyone I spoke to for any reason was very informative and understanding of my lack of knowledge on how this process goes.
I would highly recommend their services as it was an absolute pleasure working with them all during our house purchase.

Within hours he called us with the valuation explaining exactly why it was that price and then explained the process / options and gave us time to work through the the best route to take. An absolute 5* star service and I would not hesitate to contact them to sell my property. Thank you Nick absolutely great service.

At every stage of the process they were helpful, and went out of their way to build a good relationship between buyers and sellers which worked to everyone's advantage-- especially as in this case the sellers will be our future neighbours. We had very well arranged zoom calls and resolved timing issues to do with stamp duty, moving dates, etc. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and we are very grateful to Sophia and the team.

Compared to other estate agents we dealt with, they were miles ahead in terms of communication, professionalism and overall service. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they genuinely went above and beyond.

28th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Our mission from the outset was to find an estate agent that were professional with great communication - this is totally what you get from Harris + Wood Chesterwell! From the initial appointment we were very impressed with their modern tech, proffesionalism and repoire - we knew immediately that they were the estate agents for us.
Communication was first rate - from a "modern" way of communicating via watsapp chat and/or quick proffesional responses via phone calls and emails. They were professional from start to finish and nothing was too much throughout the whole process. We spoke with quite a few of the team, who were all amazing! Paul was professional and knowledgeable, Sammy and Jaden were always very polite and gave quick viewers feedback, Jorja was a real pleasure to liasion with (thanks Jorja!) and Kiah was great at communicating, ensuring everyone was set for a smooth completion day (thanks Kiah).
We also loved the key collection box ... I won't give too much away for it to be a nice surprise for future buyers! I would recommend Harris + Wood Chesterwell! Well done team!
2nd Jan 2026 (10 mo. ago)Amazing Service! Lola showed us round multiple times on different occasions at first which you do not see much with EAs so that was very helpful.
After having a bid accepted, Chris and Lola were both very helpful. Very responsive, proactive and took things into their own hands when there were issues with solicitors and if we had any questions regarding the house or any processes. No hassle at all.
Would definitely recommend and would happily use them again if we ever sell :)

Polite friendly and willing staff who always turned up for viewings as planned (Not all of them do!!)
