We bought our new house through Paul Carr and the customer service we received from Carol has been amazing. She provided so much support throughout the process and worked tirelessly to help us get the move over the finish line. We are so grateful and happy to be in our new home!

7th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)unfortunately my experience with this agency has been consistently disappointing. Many of the properties they advertise look great and are reasonably priced, which is why I kept applying and contacting them repeatedly. However, despite numerous enquiries, I have never once been offered a viewing. The process is always the same: you call about a property, they ask you to complete an application form, you send all your information, and then you receive an automatic email saying someone will contact you shortly. But nobody ever does. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of communication. Other agencies usually contact applicants to explain whether viewings are available, whether the property already has too many applicants, or whether the application was unsuccessful. This agency simply ignores people after they submit their details. I even contacted them multiple times to ask for clarification, and each time I received the same scripted responses such as “we cannot offer viewings to everyone.” I understand that perfectly. The issue is not rejection — the issue is the lack of professionalism and communication. For context, I have a good rental history, and I currently rent a property that actually costs more than many of the properties I applied for through this agency. I am financially able to afford the rent, so the complete lack of response is difficult to understand. I also know several local friends (families) who tried to rent through this agency and had similarly negative experiences. They described the agency as completely unhelpful and said the process caused them a huge amount of unnecessary stress.If applicants are told someone will contact them, then they should receive an update, even if the answer is no. People are left waiting with no information at all. I also found the staff quite dismissive and unhelpful during phone conversations. Communication felt rushed and unfriendly rather than supportive. I genuinely feel this agency needs to improve its customer service, transparency, and communication with applicants. A simple update or honest explanation would save people a lot of time and stress but they usually say:”We have no time for that”!!!Actually it’s part of your job!

11th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Cannot thank Paula and Matt enough for their professionalism. They restored our faith in the process of selling and Paula went above and beyond when handling our sale. From the minute we met Paula we knew we were in safe hands. Her enthusiasm and dedication to her profession is clear and she offered us valuable advice throughout the process of selling and even our onward purchase. Nothing was too much to ask and we were constantly updated as to progress. If we were to sell again we would not hesitate to use Paula and Matt at Priory Property Tunstall.

Darren, Molly and Ellie have a slick operation; we found communication was great throughout, everything was done fast and without hassle and we were content with our sale price and the timescales achieved in the market conditions. Ellie in particular was so helpful and provided useful updates throughout without any pressure on our family. Whilst they are at a slighter higher price point than other estate agents, we did found the service reflected that in our opinion and seemed to provide a smooth process for buyer and seller alike.

There were quite a few complications along the way, but Maddie handled everything professionally, kept us updated, and was always there to help and reassure us. Her support genuinely made a stressful situation much easier. Thank you again — we would highly recommend Reeds Rains!

As first-time movers, the whole process felt quite daunting, but their professionalism, confidence, and reassurance put us completely at ease from start to finish.<br>They kept me and my partner updated with every piece of information they had, so we always knew what was happening. Everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently, and they guided us through every step of the process, making what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward.<br>What really stood out was that they even checked in with us after completion to make sure we had settled in and to see if we had any questions. We got constant phone calls from "vouch" asking for us to set up bills for the property and asking for card debit card information. These calls kept happening even after we didn't get the property. We won't be using keates again.

It was both a pleasure dealing with Katie during the process of the house sale and, when required, Katie's expertise and advice was invaluable. My overall experience was therefore an excellent, high quality and friendly service from Acres in general and Katie in particular.

I’m new to the UK and not very sure about pretty much anything when it comes to renting, and they took the time to explain, share constant updates, guide me through the process, without as much as a frown - considering the number of times I called and asked for things. The house is great and clean, and the move in services are great as well. Hats off to both Molly and Richard. Always ask for them and they’ll get you sorted.
