Disappointing but I understand market slow but contact and professional advice may have been beneficial.- 18th Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Pretty poor experience with this agency. I was a first time buyer, found a property & had everything sorted ect. Paid what ive now found out was an extortionate fee to obtain my mortgage compared to other brokers who were half & even 1/4 of the price. Now I will say Naz was absolutely brilliant, not the easiest to get hold of but brilliant at what he does. In terms of being kept up to date with the sale, communication was incredibly poor, with me having to keep emailing & calling. The seller messed me around for over 6 months to the point my mortgage expired & I lost the will to live. I started looking for another house, ( with connells in stratford) viewed it & within a week was told i was successful. 24 hours later I had the buyers agreement signed & done & should be the house within 8 weeks. Sellers who arent organised,waste people's time, have no intention of moving ect should be heavily fined or blacklisted. The seller could have done what alot of people do & rent privately to allow the sale to proceed but this woman has been nothing but a pain In everyone's backside. Thankfully im now buying a beautiful home thats much bigger, doesnt need any work ect & the staff at stratford are on it - making this happen. The lack of communication from this branch has left a source taste, & are not somewhere i would recommend, pleasant & lovely ladies but communication is definitely lacking.luckily I will now have my first & final home. Another big thankyou to Naz though ??

I took time off work for a viewing, submitted all the requested documents within 30 minutes afterwards, at the asking price without even negotiating, and clearly explained that I needed to secure a place urgently.<br><br>Despite this, I was later told the property had already been let agreed. This happened to me repeatedly, wasting my time and even my annual leave. My credit history and background are good, and I had no issues with the checks.<br><br>They clearly do not value prospective tenants’ time. If you want a smooth and professional experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very poor service.

12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)They only care about properties to sell, rentals tho they half arse and don’t really care about, they will leave you in the dark ghost you and not update you, you have to go out of your way to make sure they do there job and even then it’s luck of the draw if they do or don’t …. Letting agents no wonder they have a bad reputation….

We where a tenant for multiple years and the service was above and beyond.<br>Everything always dealt with on time and any query responded to quickly.<br>Sandra dealt with us for many years and was absolutely brilliant. When she moved across from the letting team Sylvia picked straight up with us and had been just as good.<br>Great company, highly recommend.

25th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)The entire team helped me through a difficult time and a prolonged sale, impacted by the usual as well as extraordinary events in the near east, which impacted prices and confidence across the country. From initial appointment through completion, I was always treated like a human being. Over the course of the sale, I got to speak with and know most of the team and they all worked diligently, authentically and honestly to get my sale over the line (which also included so many shenanigans from the other side's lender!). I am so glad I chose Archer Bassett. Special shout outs to Stephanie and manager, Mark; also Jo and Stefan too!).

Selling remotely presented a number of challenges, but they handled everything efficiently and professionally, coordinating the chain and keeping us informed throughout. Their support was always helpful without being intrusive, and we genuinely felt valued rather than treated as just another seller. I would happily recommend them.

9th Sep 2026 (5 days ago)What a great service!<br>Chris turned up for an initial valuation. He was very well prepared and could evidence many local properties and what they had sold for. He had really done his homework!<br>Very pleasant and easy to talk to, to ensure we got the right valuation for our property.<br>Dom did the photos on the Wednesday and the property went live on Thursday, the following day!<br>Amber picked up the baton next, and on the following Monday, did THREE viewings. All of them made offers on the Tuesday, and within an hour she had secured a sale!<br>Very efficient people, high quality from first door knock to sale agreed.<br>I would recommend this Estate Agent to everyone.
