Very knowledgeable of the local area, on what my house was worth and what it would likely sell for. If I do decide to move I’ll definitely use them in the future. Very friendly, enthusiastic but not pushy like other agents.

22nd Apr 2026 (21 weeks ago)Farndells have been brilliant. John Farndell is very direct and honest, which really works for me—though it might not suit everyone. That said, having a realistic and straightforward view is far more helpful in the long run. You may not always like what he says, but it’s factual and truthful. You can choose to ignore the advice, but if you genuinely want to sell, it’s worth listening and taking it on board. I’d definitely recommend using them.

Broke the bad image that estate agents can sometimes get by being honest with me about not having loads of viewings, and not forcing me into purchasing a property that wasn’t right for me. Special shout out to Joel who my mum and I agreed was a breath of fresh air, very informative and had terrific integrity. It is a shame I an not purchasing a property with this agent, as everyone was super! Thank you, highly recommended.

Every time we thought it was over another hurdle reared its ugly head and they went that extra mile to smooth the matters out. Toby was excellent with the mortgage advice and I would highly recommend him. Also Arif was on board with fantastic communication when I spoke with him several times. I can highly recommend all the staff at Connells in Burgess Hill
21st Aug 2026 (26 days ago)I was already on with another agent when Cubitt & West said they could do better and get more than the asking price. They served up few prospective buyers and I received poor / below-the-asking-price offers. They said they had a queue of people lined up to buy the property and access to a wider market through their over 60’s affiliates. That never transpired. They erected a sold board when the property hadn’t sold which confused other people that were going to view the property through my other agent. They were not at all effective. Communication was exceptional; he always kept us updated, promptly returned our calls, and answered our questions. Buying a house can be incredibly stressful, but Glyn-Jones made the whole process feel smooth and manageable. They went above and beyond by keeping the chain moving smoothly. If you are looking for an estate agent who is honest, reliable, and genuinely cares about their clients, look no further. Thank you so much for helping me get into my new home!

During and incredibly difficult time in my life Suzie made the whole process of moving house as stress free as humanly possible! Very knowledgeable, particularly of the local area. I’m pleased to report that this was also reflected in his dealings with us throughout the sale process; he had a calming influence during potentially stressful periods and was never less than professional in all aspects of the process.<br>Their fees are very competitive and the quality of their marketing material is high. Communication is excellent and at no point did we feel in the dark or not in control of the process. They took on board our suggestions and preferences, but gently guided us where this was appropriate. Well done, Jake!<br>In summary, they’re an excellent Estate Agent and I’d have no hesitation in recommending the services of Mansel McTaggert Horley to either friends or family.
