2nd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)We have had a great experience buying a house with Jacobs Steel in Shoreham. They provided us with a really personal, trustworthy and considerate service. Shannon went above and beyond to get us into properties early and found us our forever home. We felt she really cared about us and worked so hard to find us the right house. We had quite a difficult conveyancing period as someone in our chain had complicated finances and we have to give a special mention to Dom. He kept us informed- he kept us buoyant and he provided a really exceptional customer service. He was knowledgeable about the process and tried hard to speed the process up for us. I think we might have thrown the towel in if he hadn’t been quite so persistent! He is a real asset to the company. We bought through Jacobs Steel and I wish we had sold through them too. We chose a more local agent but we really valued how dynamic the team at Shoreham were in getting us over the line. Many thanks! It’s a stressful process, there’s no denying it and you need a strong team like this one behind you. I would recommend Jacob’s Steel to anyone.

They’ve kept me updated, answered any questions quickly and made sure everything has kept moving forward. From arranging the initial viewing and having my offer accepted, right through to getting my Worthing Homes approval, the whole process has been incredibly smooth and much quicker than I expected.<br><br>Everyone I’ve dealt with at Whitlocks has been friendly, helpful and genuinely seems to care about getting things progressed.<br><br>A massive thank you to Chris, Christelle and the rest of the team for all their help so far. I’d absolutely recommend Whitlocks to anyone buying or selling in the area!

Betty was very patient with all my questions, and Callum went out of his way to help me understand the property and layout. Even the handover was lovely, with a little new home welcome box and treats, which was such an unexpected first for me! Thank you to the whole team for making the process smooth, welcoming and genuinely stress free. ??

But all the other staff were also faultless and excellent. Very happy with the job they did and would highly recommend them. Far better than any other agent I’ve used previously.

Isobel Howard deserves a special mention for her personal attention from the time of viewing all the way through to completion. She answered any questions I had, diligently seeking out the answers to any she didn’t know. I was a nervous (first time on my own) buyer and she provided explanations and assurances along the way to get me over the line. She also had a good relationship with the solicitors and seller, so was able to chase up where necessary. If she wasn’t available, like when a wanted an extra viewing, other members of the team stepped in and were equally kind and supportive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team, but particularly Isobel, who was very client-focused, including being by my side to understand and complete some of the online documents, as the solicitor’s operation was paper-free and consequently, all online.Graham Butt Estate Agents - Rustington
