14th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)If you have a property to let out, do not use these Estate Agents. I have been trying to get them to pay out for the damages that was caused when the tenant moved out. They let out my home on a "no deposit basis" and then took out insufficient insurance to pay out for significant damages. That was 4 months ago and I still haven't been able to move back home!

Thanks for your help.- 2nd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)I wanted to share my experience selling my property through Fox & Sons Gosport under a shared ownership scheme, specifically to highlight the exceptional service provided by Marion Barton.<br><br>Initially, the process was off to a disappointing start. Once a buyer had been found, the communication from my original point of contact dropped significantly. Given that the agency fees were over three times what I was paying my solicitor, the service fell far short of what I expected, to the extent that I had to start copying management into correspondence just to get things moving.<br><br>Then Marion stepped in to take over the progression of the sale, and overnight, everything changed.<br><br>From that moment on, Marion was a breath of fresh air. She was remarkably efficient, proactive, and thoroughly professional. Every interaction with her was reassuring; she brought a genuine warmth and personal care to the process that made us feel valued rather than just another transaction on a spreadsheet.<br><br>Our sale was particularly frustrating due to an excruciatingly slow solicitor on the buyer’s side. Marion identified the bottleneck immediately and stayed on top of it relentlessly. She applied the right pressure where it was needed most, without ever over-promising or under-delivering. When Marion said she would handle something, it was done.<br><br>Selling a shared ownership home is inherently stressful, but Marion’s dedication and tenacity made a world of difference. She is an absolute credit to Fox & Sons, and I cannot thank her enough for getting our sale over the line. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent who genuinely cares and delivers results.

The entire team, from valuation stage with Ben, to all the ongoing communication needed with Rona, John and Helen, they have all been first class. They responded speedily to all the twists and turns as the process went along and nothing was too much trouble. In summary, the whole team kept the sale moving forward and played a huge part in its painless (well nearly!) successful result. Thank you for a great experience.

They became more like friends. We are sorry to have had to leave them. Special mentions to Lucy, Cheryl and Helen who were all superb, actively keeping me in the loop and chasing everything possible to get my sale through with ease, in what hasn't been the easiest market. My case worker, Lisa, was exceptional from start to finish. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to explain everything in a way that I could understand. No question ever felt too small, and she always responded quickly, giving me complete confidence throughout the purchase.<br><br>What really stood out was the teamwork. Whenever someone was out of the office, my case never felt like it was put on hold. 19th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)Poor at communicating - I had to ask for data from right move. Poor at showing people around- I have cameras and heard a few remarks from the agent that were inaccurate and likely to put people off. Poor during initial conversation- making promises that were immediately broken about a house we loved that they were marketing. Also failed to carry out basic information gathering that we have later discovered is a legal requirement.

10th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We would have no hesitation in recommending Jack and his team. Our house sold within 2 weeks because in our opinion it was priced correctly. A WhatsApp group was set up so we were all in the loop as the move progressed, this was great for information about viewings too. If we had any questions we messaged and Jack or Robin answered promptly. The 5 stars are well deserved as friendliness and professionalism goes a long way, Fairmonts have both of these and more. Not sure we will move again but if we did we would be calling them 100%.
