I strongly advise against doing business with this estate agency.<br><br>They currently manage my mum’s property and have withheld tenant funds without any clear or lawful justification, which is deeply concerning. Additionally, they introduced a tenant who is now using the property for a rent-to-rent arrangement, despite being under an AST agreement.<br><br>The situation has escalated further, as the tenant has set up what appears to be an HMO which goes against the clauses of the AST and is now attempting to pressure my mum into covering costs (such as installing a fire door) to make the property compliant.<br><br>Communication has also been highly unprofessional and slow. Afsheen has been consistently disrespectful on the phone and has ended calls abruptly when I have tried to resolve these issues. Nyala is slow and doesn’t answer requests in a timely manner. Furthermore, there has been a refusal to provide tenant details required for us to proceed with an eviction notice, causing unnecessary delays.<br><br>Overall, my experience has been extremely negative. I would strongly caution others to think carefully before engaging with this agency.

Came to Bairstow Eves by chance thanks to the timely arrival of a marketing email. We are so pleased we sold with them. From the first visit from the manager Jon we had instant confidence in them. In the first few days we had 3 viewings booked in. All 3 resulted in offers. Once accepted we had amazing back up and contact from the whole team, nothing was ever to much trouble for them .
I would highly recommend this branch . Having moved 11 times in 20 years I can truthfully say I have never received such outstanding service.

After letting my South Croydon flat through Bairstow Eves and Countrywide for 40 years, it is now time to sell.
For the last year and a half Leon De Freitas has been the property manager for the flat, and I wanted to use this platform to recognize, publicly, his formidable service in this role.
