Debbie Nichols is our property manager, Debbie looks after both the tenants and landlord and is fare to both parties.
Debbie is the face of Leaders and presents a professional, listening and kind manor when dealing with questions or issues.
Tenants perspective - Debbie has the tenants best interest at heart and ensures that the house is legally fit for purpose, and champions requests from the tenant to improve their renting experience.
Landlord perspective - Debbie manages each property as though it was hers, she is always available to provide advice and arrange contractors to carry out work.
Summary - Leaders are a professional letting agent, who treat both the tenants and Landlord fairly, their costs are in line with the market, the service they provide is well above the market. Debbie Nichols is the face of Leaders and a credit to the company.

Eloise has been very kind, cheerful, helpful and professional thorughout the entire process, it was a really pleasant experience dealing with her. We began searching over Christmas 2021 and had viewings on the first week in January.
From the word Go, Ryan was professional, personable, and went against all of the odds and reputation estate agents have. He was on-time with everything he committed to, he called us back when we wanted him to and kept us updated the whole way throughout. We had a small problem with the Solicitors that were recommended by Leaders, and he escalated that appropriately too.
Overall, I couldn't recommend Ryan at Leaders enough... really great service in what is one of the biggest purchases you make in life.

Having had a bad experience we decided to try Leaders, Sales. We were told if we signed up viewers were waiting. They even gave us a day but would confirm a time. We signed up & suddenly the viewer disappeared immediately! All the weeks on the market we had 1 viewing. We were not actively being marketed and nobody bothered to even ring to keep us updated on how our property was performing. One report in 8 weeks and the only phone calls were relating to cancelling the mystery viewer & confirming the other viewer. We expected uncertainty in the marketplace but that doesn't mean the clients shouldn't even be contacted. This agent was the laziest we've ever come across. We have sold many properties over the years and know what to expect from an agent. They don't ring, they make false promises, they put us off selling and we took it off the market. I would not recommend them in any way, shape, or form. They speak the speak, give all the good vibes but when it came down to it they did absolutely nothing. They lost a huge commission losing our property but they wouldn't have earned it by how poor a service they were delivering the client!

The only thing I would say is that the paperwork came through rather late (very close to moving date) however that is done by a different department so the agents in the High St office have no influence over that. Never return calls or respond to emails, very poor customer service.
We agreed to let our property for 6 months, the tenant agreed to pay us the full amount in advance.
We agreed a contract with the Waterlooville office stating that they would pay us our full 6 months rent at the start of the let on the 10th June, they have failed to honour their contract & we are still waiting for our money which leaders have been sitting on since 7th June!
They are in clear breach of contract however both Vanessa & Debbie fob us off with excuses, we have lost all confidence in leaders ability to adhere to the terms of a very simple tenancy agreement.
Extremely poor & unprofessional service including breach of contract by not paying our money on time currently 9 days overdue & counting !
Definitely one to avoid if you want paying on time & a good level of basic customer service .

Twas the weekend before Christmas when all through the house.
Not a creature was stirring, not a mouse or even the cooker! It looked as though my Christmas dinner would be beans on toast but who should ride to my recuse? Santa clause and his red nose friend? No Major issues, although have found we have had to battle with Leaders to receive any help to do with an unfortunate amount of mold in our property, finding it difficult to get past all the excuses to not contact the landlord about the issue. They have helped with a lot of other things and was a very quick organized process when moving in. Although unfortunately for us with the lack of help and willingness to look like they want to help with our mold situation it has over ruled any good parts about the experience with Leaders.

From the outset, my experience with Leaders has been nothing more than outstanding. I rented with them from 2016 (Laura showed me the property) during a real hard time I was having personally. The whole process took less than a week and I was moved in within 7 days after that - which considering what was going on at the time, a total relief to have every go as smoothly.
Jill, my Property Manager, is in my opinion is a real asset to Leaders. Professional, empathetic and often went above and beyond to help resolve any issues that I had (her hands being tied most of the time as my property wasn't managed by them). If Leaders had had a property available at the time I was moving then I would've stayed with them - I only moved as my Landlord was selling up.
I would highly recommend Leaders (Waterlooville), the whole team are absolutely fantastic. Thank you for everything!

Our purchase started off under Alan and Emma, Alun was great, to the point and answered any questions we had.
Emma on the other hand was rude and disrespectful to both us, towards the property we were purchasing and when talking of the sale and anyone involved in general; the attitude was as though we were a hindrance to her day.
If staff were rated Individually, I would award 1 star here, as I suppose she did 'turn up'.
Then we had Annie and Chloe dealing with the purchase. Both very professional, polite and easy to talk to. From the start It was certainly not a smooth purchase but Annie's professional attitude and keen involvement was throughout incredible.
Thank you to Annie and Chloe for making a nightmare purchase that little bit easier.

TENANTS BEWARE charge you for cleaning etc only for them then to REPLACE items due to them being worn out in the 1st place what a con.... staff treat tenants with contempt when you point out issues with building or fixtures or faulty hot water systems and as about as helpful as a chocolate teapot in the hands of a bear chewing wasps. . lucky if you get what's left of your deposit back within a month due to their company policy and take no notice of the tenants deposit scheme...Head office never reply to emails or phone calls when you want make a complaint better of dealing with a dead wet fish.. couldn't even be bothered to inform tenants that they were going over to email notice about inspections so only for my wife to find a strange man in our rented home unannounced most unsettling and upsetting so no I wouldn't use this company again ABSOLUTELY NOT go elsewhere and save yourself the stress plenty of genuine agents out there

Thanks to everyone at the Waterlooville branch that's helped us, in particular Maria. We had a hard time and hit a bit of a wall with our employee referencing which resulted in a fair amount of stress which Maria eased everytime we spoke. She knew exactly how to help us in what seemed like an impossible situation at the tim, and after a week or so of going backwards and forwards with the referencing team we were sorted. Debbie is our point of contact at Leaders, she is quick to contact us when a tenant raises a problem and if we are slower to respond than usual she takes the initiative and arranges for the contractor to fix the problem , knowing this would be our response.
She does allow us time to digest the inspection reports, as problems which arise here are not always urgent or even fixable.
We are the able to advise her which problems we would like her to arrange to be fixed and which to leave (i.e whistling windows in unusual very high winds).
It is very good to have one point of contact, where the person is familiar with our properties.

I always get a prompt response to any questions or difficulties from the Waterlooville office and the staff are always really welcoming and friendly. The only difficulty I have had was when I phoned out of hours and had to chase a couple of times for a response and on another occasion when the phones were being answered by I think the Portsmouth office and they didn't pass the message on to the Waterlooville office.
