Drove a three hour round trip to see a plot of land with the agent, we couldn’t actually access the land, or even see over the fence. Complete waste of time.<br><br>The build cost quoted on the listing then doubled from £175k, to £350k.<br><br>All in, they’re asking £645k without accounting for any fees to produce a house, that will be worth circa £570k.

We bought our old house through Allen and Harris which was a painless process, but the easiest, and often funniest experience, was getting our mortgage sorted with Liam. He was brilliant from start to finish, wonderfully professional and we went back to see him immediately when we sold our house six years later. Great sense of humour and no faffing around. Would highly recommend talking to Liam about your mortgage, even if you aren’t buying or selling through A&H. Great experience all round and will see him again for our remortgage.

Apurve was recommended to us as a mortgage advisor by some friends and we wouldn’t be happier with our choice. From the point of our initial contact to getting the keys to our lovely house, we couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of service he provided.
