I have just purchased my first property and Allen and Harris provided an excellent service. Connor communicated with me throughout the process, he worked hard to complete the purchase as quickly as possible and he was happy to address any issues I had.

Connor has dealt with my viewings and other bits and pieces in a very helpful, friendly and professional way. He has a very approachable and understanding manner.

I requested a visit for a valuation at Allen & Harris estate agents and had a date booked. I was allocated an estate agent from the start and he made contact with me by email to introduce himself. This gave me reassurance and comfort that I had a direct contact with an estate agent from the beginning and I didn't have to call a shop and wait to be put through to speak to an estate agent. Due to a change of circumstances I had to change date of valuation and contacted Tony my estate agent to see if he could attend my home that same day. To my surprise Tony fitted me in for a valuation the same day! I was delighted with the service. It was unhurried, straight to the point and most importantly I didn't feel under pressure to choose them. The whole visit was finished within 45 mins which suited me as I had other things to do that day. More importantly Allen & Harris had the best rates compared to other estate agents. Since choosing Allen & Harris I have been in contact with my estate agent Tony nearly everyday asking questions and finalising my plans. Tony always returns my emails promptly and nothing is ever a hassle! I wasn't looking forward to having estate agents visit my house and listen to their marketing spiel but Tony was different and made choosing an estate agents easier than expected. I would highly recommend Tony at Allen & Harris, Stirling.

Lettings service has been increasingly terrible over the past 9 months. No key contacts to deal with as it appears they all keep leaving. I'm having to chase up rental statements and payments on a monthly basis. I leave voicemails and no one gets back to me. I will be moving my properties elsewhere once the agreements run out.

We brought a house through allen and Harris. We had interactions with Geroge and Gemma who were both professional and efficient and what they do. They both always tried to answer any questions we had.

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. ZERO STARS. Tied in to a one sided 20 week contract (in their favour) & very little interest from buyers or A & H. Total apathy, they are not the local company we all once knew & loved, in our case for over fifty (yes 50) years & used happily in the past to buy & sell property several times. They are part of a national company called SEQUENCE.
Phone calls not acted upon or promised call backs not made, false statements ('we have people queuing up to buy houses like yours'). Make sure you negotiate the length of your contract & selling commission percentage if you are brave enough to use them.
They are toying with people's dreams & don't seem to give a toss. Neither did their sister company in Weymouth where we are moving to but that's a story for another review.

We approached Allen & Harris for a probate valuation on our home and had our call answered by Steven Huggins who was more than happy to help. Steven visited our home the following day and we had the required information within 48 hours. We would not hesitate to use Steven/Allen & Harris in the future and would recommend them. Thank you
