Unfortunately I can't recommend Belvoir. After an impressive initial presentation on how they would market my property, communication dropped off sharply once I signed the contract. I had to email them multiple times whenever I wanted an update or needed to chase an action from their end.
When I received an offer I considered too low and rejected it, the branch manager rolled her eyes at me - an unacceptable way to treat a client.
The due diligence on proof of funds was also poorly handled. I was told funds were available, then that they were in Russia, then that they had been in the UK all along. I'm still not sure whether this was incompetence or a cover-up.
From offer acceptance to exchange and completion took six months, and progress only happened when I threatened to pull the sale and move to another agent.
I can see that Belvoir has received many positive reviews, and I'm glad others have had good experiences. This has simply not been mine as a vendor. I have no doubt Belvoir will have their own response to this - but it is my honest account.

Staffs are kind and professional. Buying or selling houses from overseas could be an easy thing with the help from Belvoir.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from the Belvoir team during the sale of our home. We have recently moved into an apartment and the support provided by Dawn was amazing. One of the worst letting experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, emails ignored, phones often not answered, and only after days of chasing did we find out the landlord wouldn’t accept a guarantor, despite this being clear from the start. They completely wasted our time and money.
- Update, in reponse to owner's comment: Terrible, misleading experience. From day one we clearly stated on the offer form that we needed a guarantor, and your agent Daniel explicitly told us this was fine. You then dragged things out for about a week from the last week of November, taking documents and running checks, only to suddenly claim at the end that “the landlord doesn’t accept a guarantor.” That guarantor requirement was on the original form you sent to the landlord, she accepted the offer on that basis, and I even asked again and you confirmed it was okay. Hiding behind “duty of care” after wasting our time and blocking us from renting elsewhere is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Maybe I left a low score review because I experienced extremely poor service from your Stafford branch & maybe I didn't leave any comments because I didn't want any further contact as I gave you plenty of opportunities at the time to resolve any issues which you failed to do.
Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part.

Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.

Just moved into a new property yesterday in Warwick and couldn’t really ask for more from the team at Belvoir Leamington Spa. Tracey and Kerri were responsive, polite and thoroughly professional throughout, getting us feedback from the landlord on our queries in no time at all! Great online systems for referencing and inventory etc making the paperwork stage a doddle!
I’ve rented through 7 agencies over the years and I can confidently say this has been the most pleasant and efficient experience so far! Every faith they’re well equipped to manage the property and support us throughout our tenancy if needed!
