Special thanks to karolina, Miranda, collin,Layla, sam, kirsty and entire team who made it possible all the viewings on short notice, squeezing me in between the lunch time, advicing and working for me and not focusing on selling product by working within my means, hnderstand my need. I used William H Brown to sell my home 2026.
I was very impressed with the service they provided. Daniel dealt with the initial stages of the sale. I found him very helpful, communicative, friendly and very professional, with the assistance of Finley they both provided a service that was exceptional. In addition to this, David the branch manager was also amazing. All together the service we received during what can be a very stressful time, made the whole process much more bearable, and relatively stress free. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.
5 stars to William H Brown St Albans, and 10 out of 10 for Daniel and David.

As a first time buyer,I had a lot of questions. Every questions was answered in depth be Ethan, one of their mortgage advisor. So, I understood every step and was put at ease. Extremely professional, friendly and efficient by the manager and her staff.

We worked with Ambica for our mortgage application and had a great experience. She handled everything quickly and got our approval faster than we expected. She kept me updated at every step, so I never had to chase her for news. Before we even started, she answered all my questions really clearly. Definitely recommend her!

Awful letting agents.
1. Turned up to our new property to let and there's a for sale sign in the garden. Negated to tell us it was for sale then lied to us and said the property would only be let to landlords, however only had families view the place.
2. During the 3 months inspection advised WHB of a page full of issues including MOULD.. 4 months later still not fixed. Maintenance guy kept cancelling over Christmas. No one has sorted anything despite numerous calls to advise them
3. I have subsequently moved out and left the other tenant (my partner) to rent on his own because I cant stand how awful the place is to live in and despite numerous emails and several calls last week and the promise to call me back and im still waiting for my name to be taken off the tenancy.
4. I am still receiving rent arrears email even though I no longer live in the property Nd have advised them. Jist to add to this There is no rent arrears! My partner agreed to pay weekly direct with WHB
Im getting fed up off the company's incompetence I will be submitting a formal complaint. Im hoping someone will see this message and actually have the decency to respond.

We had a number of issues from the start. This generally involved factual errors e.g. wrong valuation stated in communication, wrong name. Whether one particular viewing happened was dubious as we had feedback from one member of the team but another said they couldn’t access the property (we had a key safe and the code was changed). We eventually moved estate agents to a smaller one who sold the property quickly. It then transpired that the buyer had seen the property through WH Brown some time ago (the potential buyer had asked for certain information that had not been obtained weeks later - having spoken to a member of staff, it was clear they were asking the wrong people for an answer - management company instead of landlord). We were then contacted to say that WH Brown would be completing the sale - this annoyed me as they had been poor thus far and I was concerned they would mess up again. The new estate agent who had sold it was happy to finish the sale though they would only receive 25% of the commission compared to the 75% for WH Brown.
