I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Aston Rolfe who helped my son and I get our mortgage.
He was extremely helpful, honest and interested in our welfare.
Really nice guy too, hands up to ya buddy, keep up the good work from Evelyn and Nigel ????
I also want to say a massive thank you to Emily, Tony and Nick.
They have been absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful and informative.
They went above and beyond to make sure we were able to buy the place we wanted and to get moved in.

William H Brown Bawtry has so far been a very poor experience. I was interested in a property, called and spoke to an agent her name was Ellie. She said "hold on" then disappeared off the phone for ages without explaining why. She was obviously asking for info on the property and came back without an apology for leaving me hanging.
The property though I was told had gone to sealed envelope bids (after only being on the market for a week!), yet still appears on Rightmove.
I emailed 3 weeks after the sale to ask if it was still available and as yet have had no reply.
All in all a very unprofessional neglectful company and will not be in a hurry to use nor recommend.

As a buyer, we had really bad service, calls not returned and staff not always representing our wishes to the vendors. Management were helpful, front facing staff less so.

Despite promises of being two people to run our open house, it felt like they sent the office junior who knew nothing about the property, and seemed to be nothing more than a glorified doorman. This meant that out of 20 viewing (and being assured of getting “7 or 8 offers well over the asking price” we had just two- one well below the offers over price. From there, the communication was practically non existent unless we done the chasing. We had used a different branch of theirs before who I would rate 5 star, but Colchester high street branch was terrible this time. Our final thoughts was that the house was undersold on the day, and awful communication.

James came to value my mum’s property after her death. He was really nice and understanding that I needed a valuation for probate. He said he would email me a quote that night. After waiting for 3 days I rang. Wasn’t able to speak to James but the message I was given was that I would have it my midday. As I didn’t receive an email I popped into the Hellesdon office to check he had the right email address. The staff in there said they work until 7pm that night and ask him to send if after he got back from another valuation. Still not received valuation after another 2 days. Sent him 2 emails, 1 so he had my email address and the other to ask to call me if there were any problems. No response.
I really find this so unprofessional, especially as I was honest with him when I booked the appointment for a probate valuation.
If he can’t be bothered as the property isn’t ready to be sold. I would rather he tell me not ignore me. It is stressful enough without having to deal with unprofessional people.

Amazing service provided by Ryan, Tanya and the rest of the team. Very communicative and professional. I was only let down by the recommended solicitors from their end but that’s out of their control. Overall very satisfied. Thank you
