I felt very comfortable and reassured with my decisions about marketing my property as the team were supportive each step of the way. Communication on progress and viewings was available to me via what's app and the property file which worked well or me.
8th Mar 2025 (14 days ago)We want to say a massive thanks to Kiara and the team at Taylor Cole, who’ve got us over the line in selling our house. We were unlucky to lose a couple of buyers but Kiara helped keep us on track with regular updates - eventually helping to secure a sale.

The viewing was straightforward and easy to set up, the chap who showed me around the property was friendly and honest, and Suzanah was great at keeping me updated throughout the buying process. Calders were generally quick to reply, whether to me or my conveyancing solicitor, and I appreciate their help.

8th May 2024 (10 mo. ago)Agent turned up one and a half hours late for property inspection, no phone call to inform me. When I called their office a women said she has asked the women coming to visit to call me but she didn't bother. When I challenged her she said she had not been asked to call me to say she was going to be late only when she has finished her inspection (who's telling the truth) RED FLAG. She also whined on about being in a meeting and that she had only been working there for a week or so NOT MY PROBLEM not interested in time wasters. I needed to contact my landlord to inform him of the poor service he is paying for and in then contacted PP. A long story short when the evidence was put to Simon Bacon the manager he had no choice but to apologise to my landlord but no apology to me for wasting my time. Always going to apologise to the landlord because he's paying him. VERY POOR appears there is no proper in house or external communication. Glad I'm only going to here for a short period of time.

Bombarded with sales tactics to use them as our agent. We bought a property they had on there books and then when the sale wasn’t going as quickly as they wanted they emailed us giving us 3 days to complete or they had advised their client to put it back on the market. Communication overall was terrible and the branch manager is a bully. AVOID!!!!

14th Oct 2024 (23 weeks ago)Rude. Was expecting to hear when I could pick up the keys and they forgot about me. When I messaged I had the following rude response. "You have asked for a date to collect keys, which is my understanding that you have taken a room with us None of our previous conversation states which room you have taken Your contact number does not show on our system as a proposed tenant. Unfortunately we have three agents at Genie homes so you could have taken the room with the other two agents, im just trying to help find out which property so we can arrange your keys". Unfortunately we deal with hundreds of applicants per day, so i apologise that i needed to clarify". The snotty ending was terrible. It's there fault I'm not on the system yet somehow they expect me to provide them with all the information. Out of the 3 people that worked there could have said, oh yes I know him, my bad, I'll sort it. Terrible ans unorganised. Do not use! Used another company that was brilliant.

The whole Preferential team have been fantastic but specially Emma K since I dealt with her from day one till the end of the tenancy, she is brilliant. to be fair they always fixed any fault in the property pretty quickly so thanks to Victoria for this. I did not deal much with the director Simon but he did some adjustments to my contract to be able to give the month notice from the day I exchanged contracts of the property I purchased so thanks for this. From our side we have kept the property always clean and taken care of it as if it was ours. I recommend Preferential.

Claire came out to see me and my wife she was lovely, I can’t believe the house was on the market and within just one week of first contacting Chambers and sold in less than 48hours! Jaime and Nikki have been great on the phone and again they are so nice, caring and so reassuring! I would 110% recommend this company. Thanks all and I will definitely use you guys again ???? Super pleased with the flawless service and hard work from everyone!

31st Jul 2024 (7 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
