I recently had a bad experience at an EA around the corner …However, I called in at Hunters and dealing with the professionalism knowledge and kindness that Lyndsey gave me was very special. She goes above and beyond to really help you .. I can’t recommend her or Hunters enough. This is what I call an estate agent.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)I genuinely cannot put into words how excellent Next Place are! Firstly, I was a little sceptical that the OIEO price would be too low for what I wanted to get for my property, however I trusted the team who explained this would appear in more searches etc. Anyway, within the first 3 days of the property being on the market, I had a bit of a bidding war and got exactly what I wanted! So definitely trust the process. Holly dealt with the sales process and was excellent. She could also suss out which offers seemed to be a bit flakey vs who seemed to be a really reliable buyer, which really helped! The aftersales team, Nicola & Abby, were absolutely exceptional I have to say. This was further highlighted by the agent for my onward property being woeful and it really demonstrated to me what I was getting from Next Place vs what other agents were offering. Nicola & Abby were giving me and my buyer at least weekly updates from the solicitor and were chasing my onward agents, being able to tell me more about the chain than they could (baring in mind the other agent had all of the properties further up the chain!!!!) It really meant that I could sit back and be informed, rather than having to chase continuous updates myself and made the process way less stressful. It also helps that they have excellent relationships with all of the local solicitors too! I am moving out of the Tamworth area, but honestly would use Next Place again no matter what area I am in because the service is top class!

8th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)Agent turned up one and a half hours late for property inspection, no phone call to inform me. When I called their office a women said she has asked the women coming to visit to call me but she didn't bother. When I challenged her she said she had not been asked to call me to say she was going to be late only when she has finished her inspection (who's telling the truth) RED FLAG. She also whined on about being in a meeting and that she had only been working there for a week or so NOT MY PROBLEM not interested in time wasters. I needed to contact my landlord to inform him of the poor service he is paying for and in then contacted PP. A long story short when the evidence was put to Simon Bacon the manager he had no choice but to apologise to my landlord but no apology to me for wasting my time. Always going to apologise to the landlord because he's paying him. VERY POOR appears there is no proper in house or external communication. Glad I'm only going to here for a short period of time.

2nd Jul 2024 (25 days ago)Extremely disappointing and deceiving. I travelled all the way from Manchester for a viewing in Birmingham and the house wasn’t the one they showed me on Rightmove. The person was really sweet and warm but it pissed me off that they cheated me like that, I would’ve appreciated if they would’ve let me know that it was taken when I messaged them all the details as soon as it came up. They even told me we’ll let you know when the viewing starts so you’ll be in queue. Horrible never going to Genie homes.

The whole Preferential team have been fantastic but specially Emma K since I dealt with her from day one till the end of the tenancy, she is brilliant. to be fair they always fixed any fault in the property pretty quickly so thanks to Victoria for this. I did not deal much with the director Simon but he did some adjustments to my contract to be able to give the month notice from the day I exchanged contracts of the property I purchased so thanks for this. From our side we have kept the property always clean and taken care of it as if it was ours. I recommend Preferential.

Photography was good. Trying to arrange viewings which they were able to facilitate was difficult. They were not as flexible as we would have liked. They were also the agents for the property we were purchasing and this was our main reason for selecting them to market our house.
