27th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Cannot recommend Joel and his team in Wells high enough. First class service and customer care. Regular updates on viewings with sound feedback. Once a potential buyer was secured, the team of four monitored the progress of the conveyancing law firms of both the buyer and ourselves, and what a bonus that was when ‘lethargy’ appeared to have ‘rooted’ itself in the process on several occasions. The commission was sensible and they deserved every penny. ????

Natasha was very professional & friendly, explaining both the pros & the cons, so we would highly recommend Tor Estates to anyone with a property in the area.
28th May 2025 (16 days ago)The staff were always helpful and friendly, and very understanding of our family situation. Sometimes communication was tricky as details weren't left via voicemail and my job makes it difficult to call back to get information. Ultimately we had to accept a lower offer than hoped for or predicted, however we went with Davies and Davies because they gave the most realistic initial quote, and were the most understanding and caring of all the agents who quoted.

All of our interactions with the staff have been positive, and Claire made us feel welcome in Frome and renting the property easy. I would highly recommend to rent your property from them, or if you are a landlord to use them! ????

12th Oct 2024 (8 mo. ago)The biggest disappointment for us to use these people. Found the perfect place to buy, no chain, all the paperwork being done, solicitor fees paid. 4 weeks in the process, we were gazumped!!!! No feelings whatsoever, or people skills. Horrendous experience.
4th Jun 2025 (9 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!
29th May 2025 (15 days ago)The small Sandersons Wells team worked incredibly hard and professionally to sell our property in a difficult market. Alex Relf was our main contact but Kate and Sonja were always there on those few occasions when she was not available. Phone calls and emails were always followed up promptly. Once a buyer was secured they and their colleagues in Kent persevered to overcome the peccadillos of the chain with patience and diplomacy. Yes we would certainly recommend Sandersons Wells and indeed have already done so.

(36 reviews)14th Feb 2025 (17 weeks ago)I used House of Jackson removals (part of Charles Barnard estate agents) to transport all of my belongings to my new home. Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
