17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

29th Jun 2024 (28 days ago)Took a Freind for a arranged viewing of a rental property , arrived early waited past arranged time phoned office several times , called another office who said they spoke to agent and he was running late , waited an hour phoned again and was told the agent left the property and was somewhere else now !!! Complete lie , nice to let people sit outside for that long with no intent on letting them know , poor show indeed….

Being able to contact during a fast paced lettings cycle is so important and after taking my mother in law for a viewing today, Paige was accommodating and had every answer ready which was just superb. A must use for rental and purchases in Sussex

Donna has been amazing at liaising between us and the sellers and the whole experience has been completely stress free and that’s thanks to these guys! Could recommend enough!

His local knowledge of the area was second to none! He is always On the end of the phone to amount concerns or queries I had. Best of all, he sold the house in very quick time. I would thoroughly recommend him.

We switched to HW after our existing agents were not getting much relevant interest and were making mistakes, missing appointments etc. HW were friendly professional and supportive, we dealt with Niaombh and Adam who I can thoroughly recommend!
19th Jul 2024 (8 days ago)We used a few Estate Agents to sell our home, but the only one that full filled our needs, sale and professionalism were Foster&Co. Especially Jessie, she was attentive, caring and full of professionalism, going the extra mile to sell, without the pushy Estate Agent label. Nothing was a problem and we just sold to a lovely family . We would recommend Foster&Co over all other agents in the Brighton and Hove area , due to their unique sales process and sheer professionalism. Nice one Jessie!!

Really happy we went with this great independent company as there was absolutely no traditional estate agent’s nonsense or jargon. A very down to earth lovely man, who was always contactable, gave great updates and really fought our corner - getting us the best price in a really tough market! Will use Neil’s services for out next sale as he absolutely earned his 5 stars!!! Thanks to the rest of the team too. Great experience x

2nd Jul 2023 (1 year ago)The local knowledge was spot on which helped fix the price. The publicity produced 12 viewings and 6 offers within a week. The organisation of viewings and the communication to me of the outcomes was impressive. The property was sold within a week at £5K over the asking price.

As a landlord who always wants to do the right thing by the tenant and property, I would not be without Sean.
