Lesley providing the valuation and superb photos and then all the other staff from Abby to Cath and especially Andy who all kept me informed throughout the whole process and speeding up the sale. The communication was poor, the agents did not provide updates, instead provided vague (made up) progress information clearly indicating they hadn't bothered to chase at all. Fobbed off regularly. Everything EA's get a bad name for really. Including the smarminess.

16th Jun 2025 (25 days ago)Richard dey refused a property in Hoylake due to our trade being classed as a ‘dirty trade’ but then TPC decided to let the property to a business that is exactly the same as ours. Unprofessional, rude and blatant liars. AVOID.

16th Feb 2024 (1 year ago)Brian Davies and wife Linsey (West Kirby Office) could not have been more helpful since I purchased my late son’s house. If I do not know what to do I phone Brian or walk to the West Kirby Office and both of them do their best to sort out what ever is a worry to me.

7th Sep 2022 (2 years ago)According to Chancellors, X time is 4-6 weeks. Mine is nearly 4 weeks since accepting the offer and very little has been achieved. Gives me great concern.
22nd Jun 2025 (19 days ago)We recently sold our home with BFL and honestly couldn't have wished for a better estate agent. From start to finish the service was 2nd to none, all the staff were so lovely and friendly, particularly our sales progresser Dan Crawford. We encountered many problems in our onwards chain and Dan was amazing at trying to push everything through for us, keeping us updated at all times and keeping our buyers on board when our purchase took much longer than we anticipated. He is the loveliest guy that I have ever come across in estate agents, who genuinely cared and wanted the best for us. We dealt with many estate agents throughout our journey and honestly BFL were by far the best. They are a much more personal, well organised company. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend BFL to all of our family and friends, as we never plan on moving again! Thank you Dan and the team at BFL Prenton.
10th Jul 2025 (1 day ago)We had a great experience with Harper and Woods. We rented a flat through them for around two and a half years and always felt well-supported. Communication was brilliant throughout our tenancy, and any queries we had were dealt with quickly and helpfully.

1st Jun 2022 (3 years ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

12th Jun 2025 (29 days ago)Excellent service from start to finish! I rented a property through Moscrops Estate Agents starting from 10th March 2023, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Throughout the tenancy, their team was always helpful and professional. Any maintenance issues we reported were handled promptly and efficiently, which made a big difference. They also provided clear instructions on important things like gas installation and how to deal with mould prevention, which was really helpful. At the end of the tenancy, the deposit was returned without any hassle, which shows their fairness and transparency. Everyone I dealt with at the office was genuinely friendly and professional. Thank you for making our rental experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!
