14th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)Just a number for cash rather than a person with a home. Constant contact until you sign your name then you’re just a means to an end to get their commission quickly. Zero customer service or interest in sellers needs.

21st Mar 2022 (2 years ago)We had a bad experience with a major agent (Knight Frank) when we started marketing our property. We called in to F & C and asked about marketing. Instantly there was rapport. The Agent knew the area and our property really well, looked at the existing sales brochure and suggested where it might have been done more effectively. No pressure, suggested when it might be best to start marketing. We had all the hassle of Lock Down and the agent stayed engaged throughout. We had many viewings (unlike Knight Frank) and the agent went the extra mile for our sale. Really impressed.

16th Jul 2018 (5 years ago)Avoid if you can, as a Tenant everything was ok until I tried to get my deposit back after the tenancy agreement ended. The flat was left very clean and not problems on the check out. Then they asked me an invoice of a professional cleaner that was not on the contract, they wanted to take money from my deposit for not reason. I asked many times for them to explain the problem so I could solve it. But they never did because there was no problem, they just wanted to try to take my deposit for not reason what I find dishonest and unlawful. Luckily, I know my rights and after a couple of letters they had to return the money but it was a waste of time. I think this dishonest company always try to take money from your deposit and if you let them, they will take it all.

13th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Extremely disappointing…Started off excellently, then they got bought out twice (by Countrywide, then Connoll’s, I understand) and I barely heard from them afterwards. Their great Mortgage adviser also left, plus her replacement who didn’t let me know, in which time interest rates went up. Their newest in-house mortgage adviser in Killay is fantastic, however and really helped us out, I would highly recommend her. Relatives of mine also listed their property with JF Sketty before the service nosedived and they’ve had an even worse experience, now causing huge inconvenience and worry. I would absolutely avoid and go to Belvoir Sketty instead, whom I cannot fault. It’s very rare indeed that I feel compelled to leave a bad review but feel strongly that people should be aware, not to lose a lot of time and have to deal with lot of stress, if nothing else. It’s a real shame as the initial staff (whom I assume mostly left) were superb and I see that previous reviews on here recognise this.

18th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)We chose King's at Borough Green to sell my mothers house (under probate) as Jonathan was the most understanding and clear of all the Agents we tried. He was clear about the expectations and lead me to believe that the market was right to sell. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the team organised viewings and offers so that I had no hassle and was guided all the way through. Karen was brilliant at communication and chasing down the chain to see what was occurring - am sure we would not achieved a successful sale without her. In summary, I would recommend the whole team at King's.
6th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Tried to call the agency multiple times, but no one answered, got a mobile number from the answering machine. Called the mobile number, but again no one answered... after a moment I got a text message: "Sorry, I can't talk right now", so I replied that I am interested in this and that property, blah blah blah and I asked him (probably) to call me as soon as he can... never received a call. I called one more time the next day, but of course there was no answer, so I sent another message saying that I was waiting for a call yesterday, I am still interested in the property, and can he call me asap. He replied with apologies and assurance that he will call me later to arrange the viewing for the next day... yes you guessed it, he never called. So I texted him again after 7h trying to arrange the viewing. He texted me back asking for the detail of who wants to move in, income, move in date, etc. I sent him all the details and asked him to call me next day in the morning in regards to the viewing. Next day at almost 1pm, instead of the phone call, I received a message explaining that he tried calling, but I never picked up (I did not have any missed call), and I can call him back when I am free, so I called back within 10 min... of course there was no answer... after few minutes I got a text saying that he cannot talk, because................ HE IS IN THE VIEWING!! So why did he say that I can call whenever I am free?!?! He also said he will call me in next 30 min... I am still waiting for his phone call after 3 days. I am very patient person, because everybody makes mistakes or is too busy to keep up with everything in one day, but this gentleman was obviously not taking me seriously for some reason and was very unprofessional. I usually do not even bother to give a negative comment, but tbh if I could, I could give no stars. Have a good day.
16th Apr 2022 (2 years ago)My experience today exemplifies the poor reputation of estate agents. As a buyer in a strong position, I was astonished that the person at the office appeared to be entirely disinterested in my enquires, and in fact, was very dismissive. Can I come in without a mask - NO (understandable) Can I register for alerts - NO Does your website have an alert function - NO Do you have any properties within my price bracket - NO and you won’t find anything here at that price, it is Mumbles you know (btw - there are several on the market within my price bracket and I already own one property here). Utterly shocking and unforgivable. Just because the market is buoyant, does not mean that my business isn’t important or valuable.

I have both bought and sold houses through them over the years and there has been a genuine feeling of warmth and trust throughout. A really easy team to communicate with and just lovely human beings!
