28th Feb 2024 (21 weeks ago)Valued, marketed and sold a house as a standard construction property. It turns out to be a non-standard construction, that requires a non-standard mortgage and non-standard insurance. I can't re-mortgage or sell the house, let alone for the price I paid. From a first time buyer with money in the bank, to the brink of bankruptcy in less than two years. After following the complaints procedure I was left with 'resolution' that amounts to we didn't know, so we don't care. The devastating financial loss and emotional distress has been handled despicably. No regulation, no liability, no care or concern.- 25th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Made me feel like I could not ask for the price of the house to be dropped favoured the seller over me buying I had to keep chasing the agents for updates made my experience not easy also very blunt and rude st times. 7th Jul 2024 (20 days ago)I cannot thank Your Move enough. In particular Liam and Abbey at the Ilkeston Office who exeeeded expectations time and again. We had a buyer pull out at after 6 months then the house we were purchasing fell through and like magicians they pulled more offers out of the hat. They became phsycotherapists as I felt like I was loosing my mind and helped me navigate all the stress of a very long and difficult process. None of the problems we experienced were related to Your Move and all agreed this was a very unusual and fraught 18 months. We moved into our new home 3 weeks ago and are very very happy this would not have happened wihout Abbeys encouragement to keep going and Liam patiently talking me through my frustrations. Cant wait to see them both at the house warming next summer when all the work is finished as I actually miss our conversations (but maybe we could talk about something else). So if your contemplating selling your house then this has to be your first choice. We have used four different estate agents in the past and without doubt Your Move are the front runners by a thousand miles. THANK YOU Liam and Abbbey and the rest of the your move team.
1st Jul 2024 (26 days ago)Can't fault the sales team, solicitors of both parties involved in the sale were really poor and Bagshaws Residential sales team were really effective at communicating with and chasing solicitors on both sides and always got back to me by email if not by phone to keep me updated and they were always polite, friendly and efficient. Also, I can't fault all their media and marketing and getting in veiwings matching prospectuve buyers to the property price and type and I had an offer within a few weeks, thank you Bagshaws!

The valuation exceeded those we received from other agents within the area and in hindsight proved to be too high given the work required to bring the probate house up to standard. After initial viewings all went quiet. Perhaps we should have taken the lead and suggested an earlier price drop. Communication re the sales team was excellent as were the attended viewings. Overall the experience has been positive though perhaps could have been more focused when viewings were lacking.

Photography was good. Trying to arrange viewings which they were able to facilitate was difficult. They were not as flexible as we would have liked. They were also the agents for the property we were purchasing and this was our main reason for selecting them to market our house.
5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

From the very beginning Sammy was totally honest and transparent. He initially came across as too good to be true and therefore unfortunately caution made me go to a well know National agency. 12 Weeks later with no results I decided to go back to Sammy. My home had sold within a week. His photos were totally superior with no fuss made. The description was very accurate and attractive. We're not at the finish gate yet but I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sammy at Open House Burton & Swadlincote.
25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)I would like to thank you Liam from Attain Properties for the good service he provided me to find some tenants for my rental properties. From the beginning Liam was open and honest. He explained everything and answered all my questions in a very understandable manner. He found some tenants within 2 weeks of him taking the property on board. He kept me up to dated through the whole process and discussed with me any matters or findings during the reference process. His agency is still managing the property and everything in it is going smoothly. I definitely recommend using Attain Property Services and I will be using them again if I get another BTL property in the area.
