Really efficient, always giving updates, always available on phone or email and happy to respond to queries. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. 29th May 2026 (21 days ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

As you know moving can be so stressful, but Demi always found a way to help everything move forward properly. They were very patient with me, and always easy to contact. They accommodated me wherever possible and never made me feel like an inconvenience even though I can guarantee that I was! Thank you so much to both Daisy and Chloe for their help during a very stressful time of moving house.

12th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)Responsive and friendly staff with a professional demeanor. However the property I looked at yesterday was very far from satisfactory. It looked great in the advert pictures and description. So I travelled all the way from Warwick joining my son in Birmingham spending the whole day (9 hours ultimately) in the rain just to look at this travesty. Things wrong with that house. Artex ceilings, generally tasteless decor, bathroom needed redoing and the kitchen. Network installation boasted about in the advert was just a load of unfinished wires, PV solar batteries just strewn all over the garage floor. No racking, no controller. Basically the whole house needed gutting and replastering. Dodgy unfinished bare brick laundry extension. This property should've been advertised as a fixer upper at best. This is the sort of thing that gives estate agents a bad reputation

They have consistently been friendly, professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. Communication has always been clear and reliable, and it’s reassuring to deal with people who truly care about their tenants. I would highly recommend Ben, Jayne, and the team to anyone looking for a trustworthy and well-organised letting agency.

My contact Charlotte is absolutely fantastic often going out of her ways to help manage issues with tenants and getting property issues settled promptly at the competitive prices. 25th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

Despite numerous challenges that were no fault of hers, Vicky remained positive and professional at all times. She was upbeat, solution focussed and never once lost heart or patience with me. You only find out how good someone is when they come up against a problem and I can tell you - Vicky and the team at Maynard’s are absolutely first class!
