10th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)Things were perfectly fine at the start, but the tone shifted quite noticeably by the end. Once I handed in my notice, it felt like I was just something to move along quickly, simply because I was no longer a customer. The end of the tenancy came across as rushed and a bit impersonal, which made an already stressful process more so than it needed to be, and ultimately ruined what had otherwise been a good experience renting with them. Overall, not the best - but glad that's no longer something I have to deal with.

Madeline in sales was really helpful and professional in arranging viewings on several properties and getting our sale arranged, thank you! But I must say without the help and support from Jessica in Sales Progression we wouldn't be in our new home. We encountered more than a few hurdles on our journey, and her help and expertise were invaluable! She was absolutely fantastic, there was nothing she would stop at in order to get us and our entire chain moving. Without her proactive approach I genuinely think this chain would've collapsed at the final hurdle. We can't thank her enough for all she did for us. We will absolutely be recommending John German to anyone wanting to buy/sell/let in future! Thank you so much

Everyone we dealt with was helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Chelsea, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly proactive, always chasing solicitors, keeping us updated, and doing everything she could to help us get to completion smoothly. Highly recommend!
17th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Beware when your purchaser takes out a mortgage through your estate agent Would like to give zero but not allowed . In my opinion Ashbourne Bagshaws Residential protected a so called ‘hot buyer ‘ to the detriment of my sale. Helen (manager) lied to my face and said sale was going well . All the while she knew the so called ‘buyer’ had no mortgage or buildings regulations for a conversion ie not proceedable . Nor even had they 5 weeks later carried out the security checks for conveyance . I lost property after property . This is now a law suit and far from me being a tricky vendor the purchaser were not proceedable at that time. Over 4 months later l withdrew as still no Exchange . Connells the owner of Bagshaws Residential were willing to completely forget their duty to me in favour of this so called hot buyer . They were happy to let this go on month after month until the purchaser was able to proceed. In my opinion it is dishonest to favour a buyer because they were purchasing their mortgage through Connells .
6th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I can’t begin to thank Olivia at Burchell and Edwards enough! I’m a first-time buyer and Olivia has been supportive, informative and kind throughout the whole process. She is always willing to help, go the extra mile and is quick and responsive. It can be quite a stressful experience, but Olivia has ensured that it has been enjoyable and has been clear, calm and helpful the whole way. Highly recommend.

All the staff in the Uttoxeter office couldn't have been more helpful, I would strongly recommend John German to anyone looking to sell or buy property in this area.

There were no ‘extra’ charges for services e.g. 360 room tour; as we have experienced with an other estate agent. Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Extremely happy with the service we’ve received.

Nothing had been too much, and they have made it all as straightforward as possible. I’d like to put in an individual review for Rhonda. Having only been in the job for less than 4 months when I first met her, she proved herself to be a thoroughly class act in her role. I would recommend her for a pay rise or/and a promotion. Thanks guys
17th Dec 2025 (20 weeks ago)Recently sold a property with these, I honestly can’t recommend them enough . From the initial valuation right up until the day of the sale the whole team were amazing. The team kept in contact effectively and aired their opinions on proceedings and offer advice to aid with the sale. All questions I had (no matter how stupid) were answered in a friendly professional manner. All viewings on the property were booked and handled by the team and feedback was honest and delivered in a timely manner. Not once was I pressured or hassled into using any of their services but was advised of the services they offered . All the team seemed to be in the loop of the progression so was able to responded to all queries no matter the day I contacted them. 100% these guys would be my first port of call if I was to sell a property again in future.
21st Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)We had previously listed with a high street agent and received little feedback or proactivity, so moving to Addison Mead was the best decision we made. Adam stood out from day one: professional, knowledgeable and hands-on. He attended nearly every viewing, provided immediate and constructive feedback, and made subtle but very effective changes to our marketing. His communication was excellent — evenings, weekends, and helpful voice notes — which worked perfectly for us with work and young children. He genuinely went the extra mile, even attending our home to allow surveyors in when we couldn’t. Adam guided us not only on the sale but also offered great advice for our onward purchase. His attention to detail, enthusiasm and commitment made the whole process smoother. We’d absolutely use him again and highly recommend him.
18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.
