Buying a property is always a stressful process, and ours was more challenging than most - it took much longer than anticipated and required gentle handing of the other side. But with her tenacity, patience, and political savvy, Jill helped us succeed where others had failed. We're excited to start a new chapter in the beautiful Peak District. Can't recommend Saxton Mee enough!
30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Partner and I had a mortage meeting with Craig. As young first time buyers we had no clue about mortgages, Craig was super helpful and informative and we learnt a lot. Always had our best interests in mind and kept us informed of the process at all times. He just went above and beyond really so hats off to him!
26th Jun 2024 (4 weeks ago)So disappointing. Started off well, then they lost staff, no contact for weeks. Couldn't get through on the phone. New starter - great promise only to be waiting weeks for any update or response to emails. They told me they were going to take steps to find a buyer and 2 weeks later told me they had employed someone else who would be taking the steps they promised to carry out 2 weeks before. No update since that of course and no response to my emails. Don't bother trying to call as you won't get through. I tried three times a day for 2 weeks, never got through and eventually gave up calling. Property initially sold quickly, buyer pulled out due to boiler issues - but I'd provided service record and evidence of minor fix needed, can't prove it of course but doubt the full information was sent across to the buyer - provided all the information and instructions to send to the buyer asap only to be asked a few days later if they were allowed to send it across. It then took them over a week to confirm the buyer had pulled out after I contacted them when the buyer's lawyer advised my lawyer after they chased for progress due to lack of response. Absolutely no movement or viewings in over 3 months but then I've only managed to speak to them once on the phone so I can only assume people wanting to book viewings are not able to get through either. Absolutely abysmal. Seem to spend all their time upselling and onboarding new properties rather than actually selling the properties they have. I'm speaking to other agents and will be getting my notice to finish my contract with them as soon as I am able. Be warned they will include a self-awarded bonus within their contracts and tie you to an initial period of 5 months advertising with them.- 28th May 2024 (9 weeks ago)Recently had the pleasure of speaking with Adam at the Belper location. Contacted him about a house in the Belper area. Adam listened to our wish list carefully. He recommended a perfect house for us to view that we had previously not considered. Turns out his recommendation was spot on! We've made an offer on the home and will be calling Belper home in the near future. Adam was great. Recommend him highly.
9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)I chose Smartmove as they came recommended by my solicitors. Photos where taken on a Thursday the house was up on Rightmove on the Monday, had 6 viewings and 2 offers on the Friday. I was kept upto date at all times, and cannot thank the team enough, especially Imogen who mainly dealt with me after i accepted an offer. Cant recommend them highly enough.

23rd Apr 2024 (14 weeks ago)I tried to purchase a house in the past but I wasn't unable to, due to mortgage broker not being able to get me the funds I needed from the lender due to being employed on zero hours contract but luckily a family member who recently purchased a house using services from Bridgfords Sales and Letting Agents Buxton recommended Mortgage consultant "Kyle Burns" to me and that was the best recommendation ever because I have now purchased my first house thanks to Kyle. Kyle is my go-to person when I need help -He outperformed all other mortgage brokers. Kyle goes above and beyond. he is very friendly, supportive, professional and his knowledge is second to none. He really made the whole experience easy and stress free. He managed to find me a great mortgage deal. I would recommend Kyle to anyone wanting to buy their home. If you are reading this Kyle. I just want to say Thank you so much for your support. Ish from Suffolk :)

All I can say is Dales & Peaks are a breath of fresh air. Very professional, informative and found the best tenants possible for my property. Highly recommended - Thankyou!

17th Jul 2024 (10 days ago)If you're in the market for a rental property in Derbyshire then Dales & Peaks won't disappoint. Alice, the lettings manager was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with our tenancy process, no question or ask goes ignored, and her responses were fast and informative making the process as stress free as possible for both us and the Landlord. On occasions we did speak with other staff members not in the lettings dept. who were equally as helpful and supportive of our circumstantial needs in a property. They are the estate agents who don't forget about you and do call back.

1st Jul 2024 (26 days ago)Can't fault the sales team, solicitors of both parties involved in the sale were really poor and Bagshaws Residential sales team were really effective at communicating with and chasing solicitors on both sides and always got back to me by email if not by phone to keep me updated and they were always polite, friendly and efficient. Also, I can't fault all their media and marketing and getting in veiwings matching prospectuve buyers to the property price and type and I had an offer within a few weeks, thank you Bagshaws!
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.
