11th Dec 2023 (23 weeks ago)John was great to deal with throughout the process apart from being let down with 2 days notice from moving into property leaving me disappointed and left to sort out returning a sofa, bed and wardrobes at expense to myself so close to Christmas. Highly unprofessional giving me 2 days notice via email that the property was no longer to be let and to let them know bank details to return deposit. Very dissatisfied with service led to believe the property was mine…
20th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Bad experience I called to enquiry about a property but when I mentioned universal credit with no hesitation one of your colleagues say I don’t think so landlord takes universal credit. The answer is yes or no, not “I don't think” without verification. It looks like you discriminate against people who take benefits and disabled people.

Their services have been professional and refreshing from those estate agents who left bitter taste in me. Genuine and pragmatic people, happy to assist and provided professional direction throughout the viewing and referencing stages. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to buy or rent in the area they serve and you would find a friendly and professional services that is quite hardly found in today’s estate agenting. 26th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)I rented a property from Spencer Munson back in 2011 , throughout the tenancy Spencer and team went above and beyond. There was one occasion i was away and my son lost his keys, Spencer came out on a Sunday to give my son the spare set, a life saver has I was out of the country. Most recently due to personal reasons I need to rent a property, I called Spencer ( luck would have it Spencer answered the call) . Within one week of the call Spencer had a beautiful property which he knew I would love. I met the landlord who was so sweet and has known and worked with Spencer for many years. I have now secured the tenancy. I am going through a difficult time and I can not thank ‘Spencer ‘and ‘Annie’ enough for all their support and finding me a property so quickly. I strongly recommend Spencer Munson , properties are always of a high standard and any problems are resolved quickly and effectively Thank you Spencer & Annie making a difficult time easier

11th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Fantastic experience with Jacqui. If you are looking for a more personal experience then look no further. From valuation to completion Jacqui was all over it! She did a lot of the chasing and calming of sellers and vendors in the chain. She uses a professional photographer which was one of the things I loved, as I've seen some truly awful listings. She managed the open day and offers promptly and got me a buyer who actually saw it through to the end. Always there for a catch up or update. Unlike some of the other chains, she never sold my data to removal companies etc and I always felt she was looking out for my best interests, not just the commission, which by the way was also the lowest quote I got, as some of the others quoted but never mentioned that it excludes VAT. An easy 5 stars and I've recommended to friends and family.

19th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Slick, responsive and professional relationship management from Sarah Wernert at this branch. And knowledgeable too - any estate agent that answers ‘I don’t know’ to a difficult question about a property shouldn’t be doing viewings! And this definitely wasn’t our experience with Sarah and with Fine & Country. All of which means good experience and progress in buying a property with them, that deserves five stars.
16th Apr 2024 (4 weeks ago)Please make sure if you are renting a property from them to take all the tiny details and pictures of the flat especially if it is an old flat. When the time comes for check out you will need to prove to get the deposit back. Be very careful. They will try and deduct money for the issue relating to the old property.

Ian and the team at Michael Steven are nothing but true professionals that go above and beyond to ensure that not only is your house sale safe with them, but you have full communication throughout your journey. 5th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.
2nd Jan 2024 (19 weeks ago)This is an estate agent on another level. Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.

They managed the chain superbly and navigated every bump along the way. I would highly recommend them!

We chose Bowden Bradley to sell our house in Hainault, as they were a locally based but forward-looking modern agency that offered a competitive no-sale no-fee pricing structure. We were immediately impressed with Robin's insightful market evaluation and emphasis on the importance of finding the right type of buyer as well as the best possible offer. At the time given the market conditions, without such guidance, it may well have taken us many more months to receive a good offer from reliable buyers. The quality of their photography and videography was great too and they were able to get us listed days after we signed with them. We'd also like to thank Emilea, who did a great job in helping progress the sale and keep all parties updated - without which we may not have been able to complete before Christmas!

They don't make you feel like you're a loser because you don't qualify for the property. They will call you back as soon as you ask for details. I hope I can get a property to rent from them soon.
