We have had excellent service since 2015 at finding tenants, repairs and minor renovations, and dealing with checkout and security deposit issues. 20th Jul 2024 (7 days ago)Lovely experience for potential tenants. Elaine is very professional and friendly and makes a lot of the stress of flat hunting disappear. After our offer was accepted, their system made it very easy to set up council tax, water, energy and wifi.
20th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Nobody would like to get treated like they are beneath others and it is essential to remember it takes 2 to tango. Potential buyers gives you business and should get treated with respect. I was rejected for a viewing when they asked for my proof of funds being in the UK. I have never gotten asked nor required for my current funds being in the UK before a viewing from all other agencies before. Throughout the call, the agent was speaking to me in a very rude attitude as if it is my fault for not meeting a non-industry standard requirement for a viewing. They told me I will not be able to buy a house anywhere if I don't have all my money in the UK now. Anyways, I put an offer in a property with another agency a week later and I am completing soon. Their loss and I will not let this agency to have my business ever again.

After what had been a disastrous year and experience for us trying to sell our property, we immediately loved Catherine! Her warmth friendliness and professionalism was nothing like we had come across in the market. We could really sense her passion for what she does and the fact she genuinely cared about us and wanted the best for us. We did not hesitate in appointing PS&P to sell our property for us which was done swiftly and smoothly, all in a professional way - there were no issues encounters and this really made our busy lives stress free and the experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to sell or purchase!
21st Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Our purchase was a long and complicated one through no fault of ours or the seller however, the service offered by Steve at Lawlors was incredible. Steve ensured we were updated with every development in the long chain which was continually revealing issues, only delaying completion. He not only was keeping us updating but supported us fully throughout the purchase, guiding us and taking the initiative to resolve the problems arising. Steve ensured he was communicating with everyone involved in the chain which kept us reassured and encouraged us to hang on for as long as we did. At no point did we feel we couldn't reach Steve and he was prompt at returning calls if missed even if it was out of office hours. We have now thankfully completed the purchase and are grateful for the assistance we have received from Steve at Lawlors. Thank you Steve for your efforts and we look forward to keeping in touch.

Also very good communication which helped overcome challenges and progress our property chain as quickly as possible.

Whenever i have a problem with anything i can always rely on Georgis to sort it out ASAP - i speak to lot of estate agents and she is by far the most consistant i have dealt with. 6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Beware! This company do not care about tenants or their welfare. They failed to settle their own dispute with the landlord, who then turned on me to recover her losses. They basically lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with the situation, chased a tidy profit out of a very ugly situation they caused in the first place. Don't be mislead by other positive reviews... They're probably all good if all goes well and their banking their commissions, but if there are any complications they'll leave you high 'n' dry. They're simply not a good company, and their contracts are worthless pieces of paper unless the clause is in their favour. This machiavellian organisation are a disgrace to their industry. They caused me untold stress and cost me a fortune. They should not be allowed to trade. I’d strongly advise you steer clear.
15th Jul 2024 (12 days ago)I wanted to bring to all Landlords attention, that Smart Move Estate Agent has got a criminal records. Smart Move Estate Argent unfair withheld all of the deposit money and refused to co-operate with me and my solicitor. They failed to return all the calls made by my solicitor and myself and ignored all our letters. Tenant was evicted out of my property and it was in a state of some considerable damaged upon the tenancy coming to an end and I had to spend in excess of £2,000 in remedying the problems. I have taking Smart Move Estate Agent to small claim court and I have won the whole of the deposit money. Also I have provided ample notice of my desire to dispose of Smart Move Estate Agent services and yet despite this they have continued to charge me, in my view without justification. I have issued the tenant with a section 21 notice, giving them at least two months notice to leave, but the tenant ignored the notices. I have also gave Smart Move Estate Agent two months notice that I did not required their service any more and I will manage my tenant until they will be evicted out, Smart Move Estate Agent have ignored all my letters and continued to make charge. I have clearly put them on notice that I no longer want the company to represent me concerning the collection of the rent etc as to my property. I find them reluctance to accept this disappointing and clearly in breach of the recent remarks of the Court of Appeal in the Foxtons Case. I was seeking a refund from them as to commission paid and subsequent to notice terminating they retainer. I have also took Smart Move Estate Agent to small claim court and unfortunately I have lost the court hearing, because I did not had the evidence showing that the tenant paid Smart Move Estate Agent rent money. Tenant told me that they have paid the rent money to the Smart Move Estate Agent, but tenant refused to provide me the evidence and this is way Smart Move Estate Agent has got the criminal record. Smart owning showed the judge 12 months transactions and lied to the judge and said that they have accept the terminating from me, they never showed the other transactions. Also Smart Move Estate Agent carried out repairs without letting me know first, and charged me when the item was one year guarantee, Smart Move Estate Agent sent me two invoices, the first one they sent to me was a washing machine invoice and then they changed they mind when I said the washing machine had a one year guarantee and then they said it was a fridge freeze, I also said to them that was also one year guarantee. They refused to give me the receipt; it showed that they have not repaired anything. At the court hearing they had a made up receipt, which was too late. I have also taken them to small claim court and I have won. That why I want to tell you my story to all the Landlord out there to beware of Smart Move Estate Agent Residential Sales & Lettings 16b The Concourse, Edmonton Green, London, N9 0TY. I find them rude and when they wrote a letter to my solicitor the letters were all mis-spelled, and they wanted to charge me ever letter they wrote to my solicitor.

Throughout the process they were exceptional in communication and understood all the processes. I felt everything was under control and their experience really came through. I was very impressed with the swift nature of their work and above all kindness and customer service I haven’t received anywhere from other letting agents, ever. These staff members in particular went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process and I was very impressed. I hope the company can reward these individuals for displaying gold standard customer service. I will certainly recommend Elliott James Loughton. Annabel and Grace are experienced, have excellent communication skills, excellent telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills. It really meant a lot to me so I wanted to commend them on their skill and excellent work ethic - I found them to be customer first and efficient on their approach to everything and above all the pair are very hard working, kind individuals. Thank you again!

As a first time buyer I needed some hand holding and Michael walked me through the process with ease. I’ve been looking for over a year, tried every estate agent in the area, and can honestly say Settle were hands down the best. If I ever have to sell up, I’ll be going straight back to them.
